    Similar problem here (win10),

after respawning bringing up the map will freeze the whole computer. Occurred right from the beginning whenever I opened the map after having been killed. At first it managed to recover, now the map being significantly larger I have to shut down and reboot. Opening the map in other situations also reduces the frame rate to a slow crawl before returning to normal.

Otherwise game runs fine so far.

Seems like the majority of people using the R9 Series are facing this problem. Also i noticed that the crashes occur more often when im in snowy areas / in the northern part of the map

Same problem here and as someone said this problem occurs mostly players with r9 graphics series, i have the r9 380x and it crashes hard in snowy areas, i can walk only a few steps and game freezes and gpu stops giving signal to the monitor, apparently the only way is shutting down the whole pc hardly. Pls solve this problem

Same problem here. I first experienced the problem during the mammoth quests (and still can't complete the 3rd one). FC now crashes at random moments running through the wilderness. I can play for maybe 10 minute before it crashes. I did notice that the video drivers are crashing - the Radeon app in the clock tray unexpectedly quits when I try to open it after using task manager to kill the FX executable.

    Specs:
    Windows 8.1 Pro x64
    AMD FX-8370 4GHz
    12GB RAM
    AMD R9 380, 4GB
    Radeon Software Version 16.2.1
    Driver Packaging Version 15.301.1901-160226a-299897E

Edit: I tried enabling compatibility mode for Win 8 as suggested in another thread but the problem persists.
