We pre-order games way in advance, and we beta test them for you, only upon release they don't work at all.
This time I get: Sorry, Something Went Wrong" and error code 88500014.
I have had Far Cry: Primal pre-ordered for ages, same goes with The Division. It's annoying and frustrating that we wait months for a game only to have it fail. And I know there will be people out there who say "Never pre order", well it's my choice, so pipe down.
Ubisoft... What are you doing? The Division Beta was terrible and there's no way it will be ready of the 7th of March and now I find I cannot play Far Cry: Primal.
I think I'm going to get a refund for both games and never bother getting a game from you again, this is just terrible and like I said, I don't hold much hope for The Division being ready either.

I contacted support hours ago (via the link the game gives) and nothing. I posted on here, tweeted Ubisoft Technical Support as well as on Steam and so far I have been ignored on all mediums. Paying £44.99 in months in advance for something that doesn't work is like a kick in the face. Like I said, I don't hold up much home for The Division either and I'm now going to get a refund for both titles.
Reports of the game (for those who get Far Cry Primal working) state dropped FPS, lagging and stuttering, memory leaks (all the same issues that The Division Beta had) as well as flickering graphics, lighting issues, black boxes or black screens and more.
I don't trust that these games are ready for release, so will just get a refund.
Very disappointing.
Hi everyone.
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Some players have managed to fix the issue by disabling their firewall.
You can check the thread HERE.
Thanks.

Having the same issue Central Time Zone. Really they cant get it right? Its nice to know that we are all having the exact same issue though, hopefully that means they will get it up in running in the morning for all of us. However pretty disappointed that pc platform not only get a later release they screw it up and everyone gets error codes when we should be able to play the released game. It seems like a ton of games these days at least for pc are getting such buggy releases, how about you guys get a playable game ready for the day of release. It has happened before so obviously not impossible to accomplish, however seems like most fall short and have issues at and right after launch. However really not a big deal, should be fixed and playable soon just wanted to get the slight frustration out. Soon we will all be killing in the stone ages just have to wait a little longer. Have a great night everyone. Peace and Cheers
I have the exact same error and switching my firewall off or putting UPlay in Offline mode does nothing (UPlay actually needs to be online to run the game the first time..). I have also sent a message to Ubisoft support through the link the game gives me when crashing but, SURPRISE, I am being ignored !Originally Posted by michaelmknight Go to original post
Never buying Ubisoft games again.
