    SMAA removed ?

    Only FXAA i just started the game, i dont like this AA method, where is SMAA ubisoft ?

    I hope this is a joke i am using SLI with my gtx 980 ti, SMAA should just work with that.

    I bump this thread i need an anser from the developer team, why whould u implent FXAA with SLI thats just nonesense.
    Bring back SMAA on SLI else i refuse to play it.

    Ubisoft please response to this, why is SMAA removed in SLI ?
    I just cant stand FXAA makes the game look like its greased in with mayonaise.

    Here's the thing, SMAA itself doesn't have any issues with multiple GPU's. But in Far Cry they're implementing temporal SMAA which is definitely affected by multiple GPU's because it requires information from the previous few frames to average together the algorithm for anti-aliasing the current frame. This CAN be modified to support SLI but it isn't often done because it's difficult to do. The bottom line is, Ubisoft could easily implement a non-temporal version of SMAA as well for SLI users so that us SLI users have an option for anti-aliasing OTHER THAN FXAA!!!! GEUNINE PC GAMERS DON'T LIKE BLURRING FXAA!!

    I don't know WHY they didn't include MSAA in a AAA title like this and left only FXAA for SLI users.

    But consider me another requesting party for a working SMAA implementation for SLI.
    MSAA sounds good, Far Cry 4 had this to and that was beautifull
    So ubisoft if u read this when the next patch comes implent MSAA for us.

    I tried it again with FXAA but its just to blurry makes the game really look bad, i am now with no AA method @ all, jaggies are all over the place, but @ least i have decent textures now ultra.

    If you have more horsepower to spare, just use DSR to increase your resolution. 1440p if you can manage to run it should provide acceptable removal of geometry aliasing.
    Problem with DSR is by modern games is that the resolution scales well but the HUB and text in-game get really tiny, kind of enoying for me.
