Season Pass' Expanded Dark Zone and Monthly Rewards

    Hello!

As we get closer to launch and everyone gets excited, I wanted to clear a few things up. News about some aspects of the game have been quite modest, and one of those aspects is the Season Pass.
I already know that besides the expansion's names, the description for them has changed often to the point that nowadays, they simply have no description. That's alright -- the developers are allowed to change their minds and re-design the plots and features. However, one of the things that have me quite curious are the monthly rewards things. They are mentioned in several places, such as:

Season Pass owners also receive a set of exclusive outfits and weapon skins, as well as access to special monthly benefits including exclusive content drops and special events.

In addition, Season Pass owners gain special monthly benefits, including exclusive content drops and events.

Additionally, DLC pass owners get access to "special monthly benefits including exclusive content drops and special events," though no further details were announced.
I got the Gold Edition on Steam, so I'm a Season Pass owner. I quite like the idea of receiving monthly rewards, so it would be nice if a developer or community person could give us a few more details on the nature of those rewards -- as vague as they may be -- in addition to the remarkably oblique "content drops and events" information we have now.

And then, we come to the second point -- and quite an interesting one at that. The second expansion, titled "Survival", is described in some places as an expanded Dark Zone taking all of the city. They read:

    http://www.pcgamer.com/the-division-...some-freebies/
The second, Survival, turns the entire map into a Dark Zone—Dark Zones being the competitive PvP element of the game, which stands separate from the main campaign and has its own progression system.

Survival: Survival expansion is for the hardcore lovers. Survival will turn all of your map into a Dark Zone and as we know Dark Zone has pretty much different dynamics from the main game.

The second big expansion will be called Survival and, according to the update, it will turn the entire city into a Dark Zone, which will open up the competitive PvP mode to the whole map.
Some other places, however, simply describe the "Survival" expansion with a notoriously vague "In this expansion, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.".

Given the tendency on this forum of people taking sides between the group who thinks the DZ is a PvP-focused area and those who think the DZ is a PvE+PvP interaction zone, I don't want to throw fuel into the fire -- but I must say, turning the entire city into a Dark Zone sounds violently interesting. As far as I know, that doesn't mean removing the non-PvP aspect of the game, but expanding the game map and introducing new areas as PvE only while advancing the plot and the outbreak and making the whole original area a new Dark Zone. Regardless, I would like to hear an official comment about it, even if such comment is "that idea for the second expansion has been scrapped".

So, can we have any information about those two aspects of the Season Pass?

P.S. For those who don't own the Season Pass, you will not be forgotten -- one source says "Ubisoft says even those that decide not to invest in the game’s season pass can look forward to extras. The company plans to rollout out free updates to everyone for a year. These updates will add more challenges for the Dark Zone multiplayer and rewards for squads. Those who have the season pass can expect an exclusive sawed-off shotgun, weapons skins and outfits to arrive on The Division release date and in monthly drops that’ll only be available to them." That description of the second expansion in The Division is from a press release that was issued on the 28th of January 2016. So turning the whole map into one large DZ is what it says there.

I'm just curious when the season pass will be made available as a separate purchase. I already pre-purchased the standard game and I would like to just pick it up rather than cancel/refund my order then order the gold edition. I assume it will be shortly after launch, but I was hoping maybe someone knows a date.
