Massive has created their own system of PVP for The Division. It's different from Call of Duty and DayZ. The video above explains why the game will never be like COD or DayZ. Also explains why what they currently have works in their game.
What are your thoughts about the PVP system? Keep in mind the issues we experienced in the beta are related to the beta. Lets keep what we know about the Dark Zone and discuss that rather than sharing what was needed in the limited beta they provided.
The PvP system is very unique, new, and seems like it will succeed in it's experiment to how well players interact with it. The limited loading screens from PvE zones to the PvP zone is very reliable and helpful. Sometimes, I forget that it is still lobbies and servers. It has a well-built strategy and concept to it, as well. It will definitely tempt players on trying it out at least a few times.
I currently love the pvp system, its refreshing from the non stop kill fest that most games have become. However I do believe that there could be some small tweaks here in there for it, nothing drastic just a change in the reward gain and reward loss system when you die. Its a little extra harsh on rogues I don't think it could hurt to give a 10-15% reduction to the current exp and dz fund loss. If the devs think that it would be a good idea to bump the dz fund gain from surviving a manhunt then I could agree with that, although we don't know what the loss and gain numbers will be for higher levels so that leads bad to the usual lets wait till the game actually drops and then go from there argument.

Here >>>> "" WTH are you talking about , youre whole video is non sens and the vast majority who want meaningfull pvp arent asking for call of duty , but for meaninffull reasons to go in PVP combat agains others squad other than gank them for giggle or loot them ... Also the rogue system isnt the problems its the way its implemented the " redskull of death " wall hack is ridiculous and very bad , it isnt even fun to chase rogue players because you always know where they are in real time and youre updated on every moovement they might do in real time so the request of many is getting rid of the " wall hack " skull , also , No ones compare this game to ****ing COD , at least say peoples ask for " ghost recon futur soldiers " arena , or anything like this , stop missusing COD all the ****ing time to gain any credibility with the " anti COD " sentiments many shares including myself , but here you missuse it and is simply dishonesty or stupidity from your end ... Ive never seen ANYONES asking for COD mechanics , or cod type game on the division beta forums like ever .... Only mindless anti pvp twats who shout " go back to cod " to anyones who dare to ask for meaningfull pvp , AS FOR DAYZ IAM SORRY BUT THE DEVS THEMSELF ON MULTIPLES OCCASION AS COMPARE THEIR GAME ESPECIALLY THE DARK ZONE TO SURVIVAL GAMES SUCH AS DAYZ but with much less " arsh punishment " wich you can loose what youve looted in the zone , guns , gears , grenades , etc.. but you wont loose the equipement you wear you wont have to eat and drink etc... but the concept was roughly the same in some regards but also different trying to have player to be a little bit less hostiles but still hostileIts a tone down version of survival games

haha, if by bang on you mean good job with the hyperbole and generalizations, yea... great job. Any opposition to the system in place is smacked down by fanboys squealing go back to call of duty.Originally Posted by Estensis Go to original post
Anyone with a serious opinion of their own won't watch the video, because the very first thing he does is try to generalize everything into two sides. Those who want the game to be call of duty, and the division purists. It's quite obvious who this video was made for, don't stop circularjerk guys.Originally Posted by SgtDmX Go to original post
