Lets say you did all that six months ago, now you're happy because you have a reason to play the game again. I'm not saying I have top 10 times on all tracks, I don't, but I played as hard as I wanted to and was pretty bored with all bikes completed, now I and a lot of other people have something to aim for again. Sometimes it's not about the top players, it's about the majority of players.Originally Posted by justinman114 Go to original post
The massive majority don't care, they just want to enjoy the game and a new bike is fun.Originally Posted by bwestlie Go to original post
I think this has been answered. The donkey and crazy leaderboards are broken and have been worthless for nearly a year. I would think it would be an easy fix, but I don't know anything about programming. Clearly it is an issue they haven't been able to fix and so adding yet another leaderboard to the unstable system is not a good plan.Originally Posted by bwestlie Go to original post
I've made peace with it. Will start working on the KTM tracks in a few weeks after I get it maxed. In the meantime, I will work on tier 3 and tier 2 until we see the next legendary bike.
Good news: not bored yet!!!
if they introduce tier 2 and 3 legendary bike most top players will leave the game
just spent 3h on widowmaker for #11 and 1h for logging camp #11, so imagine all this effort is just gone
im done with arguing about the stupid devs decision
I am really disgusted by the decision of putting the KTM bike into the normal leaderboard!!! The time and effort that I have put into improving my times (practicaly all of them in the top 10) has just been crushed. I am now being passed by people who would have never passed some of my times on the "classic" Tier 1 bikes...
I must say that for the first time I have concidered quitting the game. If not now then probably when the Tier 2 legendary bike comes out (and I am sure that I will not be the only one).
To me it looks like RL added the KTM so new players can score points faster. If an old player on normal bikes took on average a year to score 100million point, then a new player with the legendary bike(s) will take on average a year to score 200 million points. I´m oversimplifying but isn´t that it in a nutshell? Saying a new LB was not created because there are problems with existing LBs... come on, seriously? More likely it wasn´t created because it slows down new players. Of course more tracks add the more points to be made, that never changes, how fast you score is what´s changed.. JollyCharly wrote about this saying something like "the current LB is at maximum", i read this as the average time the average players takes to score an average rank needs to be bumped up. True that right now only a smaller percentage of players have the KTM built, but you never know, RL could adjust for this in several ways, in a few months time everyone might have the KTM. They could release a new story line that gives blueprints for tier 2 and 3 legendary bikes, give out blueprints in the bunker.... who knows....
But really is there here any doubt that Tier 2 and 3 legendary bikes will be added?
i hope they learn from mistakesOriginally Posted by ChemicalD Go to original post
There is no mistake, that´s my point, everything is developing according to plan. I´m betting in April we see a new legendary bike.Originally Posted by PL-k4kshi-TFG Go to original post
