People. Why is everybody thinking there was ever leaderboard integrity? All of a sudden everyone thinks the score they had was correct. It wasn't ive been saying all along people with worse skill than me above me on the leaderboard.

This is a FAR different issue than the fact that the leaderboard points aren't correct. This introduces a whole new way to play every track, and for us to have to go back and re-perfect each of those tracks with a different bike just to keep up is dumb. It's equivalent to allowing us to use the Mantis on Tier 1 tracks and have it count on the LB. It makes the REAL Tier 1 bikes feel obsolete. I personally put a TON of time into those tracks, as I'm sure all of us have. It feels wasted now.

Like I said before, this had BETTER be unintended, and we really need a response from a dev or a mod on this ASAP. It's pretty important.

I can see a LOT of people leaving the game if the KTM Bike is going to count on the normal Tier 1 Leader Boards.....It will make everyone's time and hard work obsolete !!

The KTM Bike needs to have it's own Leader Board without a doubt, it's far superior to the rest of the Tier 1 Bikes and has NO right to be on the same Leader Boards with them !!


What does everyone think about having a POLL or something to show RedLynx how many people on here are annoyed and actually care about this ??

Look at my rank on the global leaderboards. Sitting at 1420, Do I look like I care about that? Of course not, seeing as I haven't played all the tracks, and global leaderboard is clearly not a fair measure of skill. I'm bummed because my strong tango times will be beaten by lesser skilled players. I should not have to replay a track simply because a new bike is released. The leaderboards should be separate. The KTM bike being a part of the normal leaderboard will void probably half of my times.

I would imagine this was not a decision made by one guy I'm sure there was a meeting and many heads thought this was a good thing.
Makes you worry about future decisions also I might add theses same people also came up with the stallion!

Given this new bike is on the current leaderboards I think the best thing would of been to introduce it in to a trials frontier sequel and instead of creating a new map just having that as the new map in the new game. The current way of navigating tracks is to difficult and improving tracks and times far to time consuming a more streamlined way of displaying the tracks and times would make me actually try harder at improving my times rather than the tiresome way it is now.

The only problem with the stallion is that you can't ride it well, believe me.

Stallon is on crazy bikes LB which is for old time players only and totally optional.
Also, the agent bike can't clear all the tracks, so we have another point for the stallion bike.
The problem is nobody was expecting another Tier 1 bike and people like Carterclem spent a lot of time improving his tier 1 tracks pushing as far as possible. And now this.
It's just pointless!

Im seeing it differently peeps. We all want to play the game. (Thats why im in a forum typing about a game) i see it as an expansion to a game we all enjoy. To say that its a chore to reset times on tracks we all know like the back of our hands is a bit extreme. Its easy! With a faster bike! Im looking forward to getting it. The leaderboard and my placement on it are irrelevant. im just enjoying the way the game for all its faults just keeps expanding. And lets not forget its free to play. So lets see how many people leave. my guess nobody! And i said it before. If your time on any individual track doesn't say #1 your time sucks! And needs improving.

I dont think I have to remind you that not everyone thinks the LB is irrelevant, right? (and that if worked as designed it would be more relevant to even more people)

Yes we like the game, and we might even like the bike/expansion, but we are still pissed. Yeah, we've all run these tracks very often. Hundreds/thousands of times... and why? Because doing the same track over and over isnt really fun/challenging on its own... is it? Are we all insane to do this over and over? No... we had a purpose, and THAT PURPOSE is what made it fun/challenging. We were improving our personal score and comparing it to others on a LB.

RL had a chance to ADD to the game by putting their new bike on a new LB where we would be ADDING to our accomplishments on these same tracks. And everyone of us would have played that track a few hundred more times at least! Instead they are choosing to OVERWRITE our previous accomplishments and throwing away the result of those hundreds/thousands of times we ran the track. With a single decision (to share a LB) they are in the process of undoing all the "good" they just added to the game by sacrificing all we did before. And this topic is our way of venting that frustration of a good idea implemented badly.

I am glad this doesnt bother you; I wish it didnt bother me. I do care about the "free" game, which is why I am complaining. Its why so many others are too.

Time will tell... not everyone who leaves will post they are leaving. Just because they dont leave right away doesnt mean they wont; everyone has their own point at which they will suddenly stop and say "why the heck am I playing this track for the thousandth time?" I think its kinda the point of a successful game they they DONT put their players in the position to ask themselves those kind of questions. . . and its a mistake when they DO.

Can we please stop the ridiculous trend of excusing poor development decisions by saying the game is free to play? Making this game isn't a favor RL are doing us, they make money from it, and they make it because we are playing it.

I personally dont spend money on game devices that aren't consoles. Ive played much bigger games than this and guess what they're broke too.
No point in winding yourself up. And what do you mean i am the product?
