The bosses we seen in the beta were pretty easy even the medical one on hard. I hope that it is because they were lower level bosses and that at higher levels they have better AI and mechanics and not just increase their HP.
The same for doing the same mission on a harder difficulty. This is the only point where I have a problem with bullet sponge. I want the AI/mechanics to be better on a harder difficulty not just harder to kill with the same mechanic.
Well they were basically the beginner bosses, and with a good team those missions can be very easy probably no matter the difficulty.
I think that there is a difference in the AI based upon difficulty, at lower levels they use really simple tactics and are just there to really be shot, at higher levels they make better use of cover and attempt to flank you often if you allow them to.
I remember at one point in the dark zone down in the subway with the cleaners I had a good experience. We had thought we killed all the cleaners down on the tracks and for a minute we were just sorting through our loot, suddenly I saw a cleaner rush across the tracks to the the side we were on then dive behind cover, he peeked up to look at us then deployed a turret, laid down some fire then attempted to rush us as when turned to find our own cover.
I swear I at first thought that npc was a player that's how well it planned out its attack, I was thoroughly impressed by it.
Level 4 and 6 missions ( as far as I know the new morgue mission did not have a hard setting on it ) playing in a group of 4 with high end or purple weapons and you expected it to be hard? Pretty sure that same situation on a level 20, 25 + is very very different.
The amount of gear, weapons, armor that we got in the beta does not match what we can actually get in the main game as a level 4 or level 6. Everyone was way over powered and over stacked.
