Is there any way to race against your own ghost with the KTM?

nope and thats what the event makes good, in my opinion.

I don't mind not having other people's ghosts, I would like to be able to go up against my own.

you have to now where your mistakes are.
try to race against with your tier 1 ghost (armadillo or tango) and than you have a comparison.
i think they did this to make it harder to improve.

yes it is possible but against a non KTM ghost
but you still can race with a KTM against tier 1 bikes
