looking for casual, mature, mic-using players

Hello everyone! I'm looking for some people to play with when the game comes out, but I didn't see any posts containing exactly what I was looking for, so I figured I'd post my PSN ID and let you add me if interested.

My #1 requirement is that you use a mic. I love communication in my online games. I also have a fairly active YouTube channel, so while I don't mind if you set your mic to not be in my recordings, it's best if you are at least okay with me posting a video showing some of your gameplay. I'm definitely not one of those annoying YouTubers that changes my play for the sake of views or a channel schedule though. All my gameplay is my buddies and me being completely natural, and the video is just edited from that. I do have a tendency to use strong language while playing games. I'm actually a really nice guy, but I like to let loose during gaming, so social justice warriors may want to stay away, haha.

I don't care at all about clan affiliation, gender, living situation, skill level, geography, ethnicity, pace of progression, etc. A fun person is a fun person regardless of those things. As long as you try your best and communicate often, I want to play with you.

If you want to get a better idea of what it's like playing with me, I think this is a decent video:

If you still want to add me after all that, my PSN IS is "Slug_Overdose". I'll see you all on March 8th!

    Hey Slug,

You might be interested in our clan: Couch Potato GAMers. We all use mics.

Since 2010, we have provided a community for the casual gamer, first on the PS3 and now the PS4. We started off as a Battlefield clan, but have ventured into Destiny, GTA V, and now the Division. Our members see gaming as that much needed escape from family, work, study or whatever 'real life' obligations we have going on. We have jobs and lives, but gaming isn't either of them. We're just here to have fun and play games within a respectful environment.

While we play the objective and always aim to win, we aren't all about 'owning it'. We don't hold practice sessions and we do not call anyone's skill into question, only their attitude. We're mostly average players ... some being more average than others.

If this sounds like the sort of thing you are looking for from a gaming community for The Division on PS4, please feel free to send an invite to the Couch Potato Gaming Clan. If you join the clan site for more gaming follow this link:
    www.couchpotatogamers.org/joingam

You can also add the following Division Clan leaders on PSN:
    PSN: BabyD_031
    PSN: Fortesmythe

Well, I gave your CPG application a shot, but after 5 days, my application was still unanswered, I was not invited to the PSN community, and I received no replies to my introduction messages from the clan leaders (although they did at least add me). I don't have much clan experience, but my most recent one was with a Rainbow 6 Siege clan on PC who turned out to be very inactive and only interested in keeping up numbers and donations, so forgive me if I'm not really in the mood to join clans anymore. My best experiences are with people I met through gameplay or forums without a formal process.

So I'm updating my criteria. My #1 requirement was that you use a mic, and my #2 requirement is NO CLANS. If you just want chill buddies on your list for when you don't know how to play with, feel free to add me, Slug_Overdose.

The problem you are going to run into is that most people playing this game are playing in large groups. Even if you had 8 people reply to this what are the chances that even half of them are on at the same time you are in order to group up? Most people want to play in clans just b/c of the large group of players available so you are never searching to find people to play with. If you wanted to check out our group you can the link is in my sig or I can add you to our PSN community. We are more of a group then a clan, there is no application process, there is no weekly practice just a group of people wanting to have fun with the game. Only requirement is that you are not an immature Ahole

    Sup Slug,

Our core players have been playing together since Socom 1 on PS2 way back in the day (gg, g^). Since then we have rolled together in everything including COD, Battlefield, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six. Currently we have 4 full Squads set up for a midnight EST kickoff and have already set up a PS4 community for our members to quickly find each other, see who is on, and share tips/tricks. Check us out and submit an application here:

Remember...Friends don't let Friends run the DarkZone alone!

Feel free to friend me on PSN if nothing else: DCS_2

    Cheers,

    Highly-favored0

Hi, I am a very tactical player first time PlayStation 4 purchaser, have only had for a few months. I like games like socom, splinter cell, etc. Must have mic, and communicate as well. I'm a very realistic player as if I were in the army. Mature people that like to have fun. Been studying about this game for over a year. Know a lot about it. If I'm a good fit and you guys wanna be on my team, my PSN is Highly-favored0. Thanks! See you guys March 8!
