    Disable Automatic Waypoints

My favorite aspect of any Far Cry game, above and beyond the polished, intuitive gameplay mechanics, is the exploration. I love being thrust into a new world, fending for myself, and learning the land by hand. As such, once I start to get the hang of such a game, I always disable the mini-map, disable as much of the HUD possible, and ignore the full map in the menu. I find that having waypoints and maps removes me from the world: without these tools, I must explore in the land; with these tools, I am merely traversing above it. Therefore, having no maps or waypoints makes the game significantly much more fun for me.

However, I cannot figure out how to disable the automatic waypoints.

Automatic waypoints are what I call the waypoints that appear onscreen even though I did not set that waypoint. These lead to missions, events, and other tasks. See the yellow marker in the image above as an example.

Does anybody have any idea on how I can turn these off? If it's not currently possible, is there a way to suggest to Ubisoft this as an update?

Again, finding these events on my own as opposed to being led there would be so much more fun for me. It seems a little silly to me that I can disable every other HUD item and other form of help except this.

    Hopefully! That would be fantastic!

    A couple further notes:

    1. Not that it makes too much of a difference in this context, but I am playing on the Xbox One version.

    2. I am unsure as to what the small yellow/orange and white icon in the bottom-right corner of the HUD in the image above represents. I also don't know how to remove that visual indicator. I would like to be able to remove that as well, but it is of much less consequence as it is unobtrusive and it doesn't affect gameplay in the ways I described above.

ScrappyLive the icon in the bottom right tells you that you have all the materials required to craft something

That was the very first thing I disabled!

In the settings menu, it is referred to as "something something disable 3D objective marker something something"

    I play on PS4

Hmm... I was going to play with at least still the health slots and ammo HUD visible, but damn did you make the game look compellingly immersive with that screenshot.
I might have to go without HUD altogether as well.

Well, I certainly do feel silly. It turns out that I simply did not realize the options in the Interface menu exceed the limit of the screen. That is, I just needed to scroll down past what I thought was the last option ("Minimap Opacity"). The automatic waypoint option is called "World Icons" and the item on the bottom-right corner of the screen can be turned off with by switching the "Crafting Indicator" option.

It really adds to the experience!
