Preface....Love this game and the emergent game play that can arise with the different skill combos weapons. As with all good things, they can always be better. I have some personal opinions in this regard that I believe would really make this game balanced and a must own for all gamers. If you have some ideas to add, please post them in the comments/reply. - This goes in first HOLD 'Y' (triangle/w\e pc key) to swap to pistol, the double tap is not only difficult to pull off successfully sometimes but typically in most shooters using the button in double tap is an advanced move for players that want to swap back to the gun they almost swapped out. PLEASE AT LEAST PUT AN OPTION/CHECKBOX TO CHANGE THIS IN OPTIONS/SETTINGS menu
- THIS IS A BIG ONE... VENDORS SHOULD NEVER SELL GEAR/WEAPONS/MODS BETTER THAN WHAT CAN BE FOUND/EXTRACTED, this undermines the whole point to extracting loot in the Dark Zone and just turns these vendors into daily shops for the next best item(s). So instead of playing the game as you intended by finding loot and extracting it turns into farm money to buy the good stuff...PLEASE FIX THIS!!! This applies to ALL vendors PVE or PVP.
- Stacking HP in PVP seems to be the best course of action for successful engagements whether it be AI or Players. May need some balancing.
- Priorities should be set or maybe change of button to inspect another player, too many times I tried to melee someone and instead inspected them by going into the menu, which ends up getting you killed. Easy fix would be, if you are in combat you cannot inspect other players.
- If you choose NOT to get rid of gear/weapon/mods sales from DZ vendors, please put a vendor in the Post Office/Base of Operations that has all their combined stock for that respective day...so annoying running to each vendor in the DZ to check their daily stock, false sense of immersion.
- Roaming packs/bosses in all zones, PVE and PVP, right now from the open beta all NPCs are static JUST LIKE DESTINY, fix this!
- Going to restate this; PUBLIC EVENTS, these can be fun if done right, both in PVE/PVP zones
- Rogue timer should continuously countdown, people can spawn and re-engage well before you have a chance to run the timer down to perpetually keep you in combat and rogue
- The amount of map pings for a Rogue should be increased. The time of the rogue revealing ping 2sec or under on the map/mini-map. I would say 35 or higher is fair to start at lvl1 rogue going down in multiples of 5 the higher the rogue lvl. Example: 35sec / 5 (each level) = 7sec for each tier of rogue. So, 35sec for lvl1 rogue, 28sec for lvl2 rogue, etc. Just an example, but I think this should be given some serious though as going rogue right now will usually end in your demise from aware players no matter how far apart.
- Bigger storage for DZ extracted items, 30 is SO easy to attain very quickly, then having to go back to the Base of Ops/Post Office to review items gather and micro-manage them, then having to run back to a DZ checkpoint...sigh, so annoying. Don't even try to say it breaks immersion if you could fast travel...semantics...
- Weapon recoil is ridic on console, I see PC vids and the reticle doesn't nearly move as much, lessen this?
- The riot shield is REALLY bad and in need of buffing, either how much damage it takes or maybe buff the pistol while shield is being used. Less revealed body when wielding, only arm is shootable?
- Gear/weapons/mods in each tier higher should not be a drastic leap above their predecessors in damage/armor/stats, obviously they should be a little better but not extremely so. yellow > purple > blue etc.
- Ensure each mission has a difficulty tailored to endgame. Possibly a difficulty setting that would award (at least a high chance of epic to high-end gear) for the last boss
- A skill or skill mod that replenishes ammo, this would be great for PVE or PVP, too many times in the DZ ran out of ammo when in combat, annoying we have to visit a checkpoint to replenish, maybe ammo replenish at certain areas of DZ? (would be more fun and team oriented if it was tied to an ability)
- Time of prior to tier 1 rogue too long? 10sec instead?
- If trading is implemented, DO NOT ALLOW TRADING OF CRAFTED ITEMS. What would happen is when someone obtained a high-end blueprint they would trade to everyone else possibly for profit then it's no longer a unique item someone was lucky to obtain.
- If trading is implemented, allow trading of crafting mats and money of both types. Possibly have each rarity per trade tied to a money amount to force a fair trade, can be overrode by players to agreed upon amount
- Upgrading of weapons/gear/mods, by using crafting mats of appropriate tier and/or by leveling the weapons/gear/mods through XP (Destiny esk) Limitless levelups, with each level up has a stat point can be used to add to damage, accuracy, etc..
- Able to buy ALL CONSUMABLE items from any type of vendor (this includes grenades)
- Option/checkbox in settings menu to have a reticle on screen at all times
- Better mini-map indicators for North, South, East, West, have to call out location atm at a glance
- M1 carbine needs a nerf. This gun is so good it makes the M.44 obsolete, the M.44 should be comparable in damage to the M1 but with a bolt action it cannot keep up. Getting two headshot downed in DZ by M1 = unbalanced
- Dedicated matchmaking mode for 4v4 or 8v8, there are plenty of game types that could be implemented
- DZ checkpoints need a personal storage box, would stop the tele back to base and run back we currently have to micro-manage extracted items
- Cooldown on the dodge roll, people are just spamming this atm, this should be a tactical maneuver, like 0.5-1.5sec CD timer
- Healing ability is OP, it's so good I think EVERYBODY in the DZ was using it as one of their skills, too good not to use atm

- More verticality; rip cords, ladders, 2nd/3rd/4th story areas available
- More shortcuts between buildings/streets, if necessary open access to building doors/windows
- Loot crates replenish more actively (e.g. - have not found an openable Dark Zone [key required] chest in the last two days, not sure if this is a bug or how the game is supposed to play?)
- More dynamic events, public events, this should not just be in PVE areas but also PVP areas. These could also chain to other events depending on the outcome of the first event. As of now, the world is starting to feel static like Destiny and YOU DON'T WANT THAT! It should feel new and exciting each time we load in...
- Ability to roll off ledges (small), if a large drop then go into a clamber animation at which point you can clamber left and right.
- Use of rip lines (not sure what their called) for repelling down from a building at any point, there should be a few second animation for this so players cannot abuse it.
- Add clamber to ledges
- It may sound dark but allow us to kill civilians, it breaks immersion when we cannot...repercussions should be applied upon doing this
- Enemies can call for reinforcements if they are not dispatched in a certain amount of time or based on their proximity to other hostile NPCs
- ability to opt for *AUTO MATCHMAKING* IN THE DARK ZONE, IT IS DETRIMENTAL TO BE ALONE OR IN A GROUP WITH LESS THAN 4 PEOPLE IN THE DARK ZONE, any team of less than 4 people it's basically suicide in firefights
- a min required selectable by the group leader for players to be invited to their group based on ilvl (combined ilvl of all their weapons gear, ask a WoW player if you don't know)
- allow the select wheels for the grenades/items to be selected by the left joystick as well, for us southpaw players I will have to remap buttons to make it easier to access and use these items (just add the option to options menu, either swap the default from right to left joystick or both joysticks can perform the action)
- PLAYER TRADING!!! It better be patched in at some point, PLEASE, the easy way to ensure players don't abuse this feature, BOE and BOP status items, so each item that drops could be BOE then once equipped it cannot be traded, for vendor bought items they are BOP (once again if you don't know ask someone who has played WoW)
- LMGs: when shooting from over cover a bipod is automatically used to greatly increase stability (see BF4 (3 as well?)), LMG are super bad atm
- Place a storage box at the 'Checkpoints' on the outskirts of the Dark Zone
- B button (on XB) can be used to crouch
- Stamina meter to prevent infinite sprinting/rolling. An example of abuse are the players going Rogue then just sprinting around the map until the time runs out...stop this please.
- Dark Zone PvP...the Rogue debuff needs A LOT OF WORK! Once you have gone Rogue it is basically a death sentence as your timer never actually goes down, the whole map can see you, you cannot defend yourself without increasing your time, the only option you have is to run...this is dumb
- This is a big one...for both regular and dark zone CREDITS there must be a cash sink these can ALWAYS be used on, add the ability to buy each type of grenade and item from checkpoint vendors. Purchase crafting materials of each tier (grey, green, blue, etc), obviously costing more the higher level tier. Currently I find myself with many credits of each type and NOTHING TO SPEND THEM ON (fyi, Destiny has this same problem)
- Maybe a set amount of credits required to trade an items (based on tier) to another player? Just a thought
- Checkbox added to options to change the functionality of the Y button (XB) to change to pistol, the double click is terrible, let me just hold the button PLEASE
- It may be a bug but when the Y button is clicked twice in a row but I should NOT switch to the other main weapon, it should revert back to the main weapon I was currently using, (see ANY fps game that has weapon switching), another reason why NOT have have double click on Y to switch to pistol
- Another tier of difficulty with increased rewards, 'Very Hard' for missions
- When deconstructing a grey/green/blue/etc you should have a chance to get a crafting mat of a higher tier, this is fun RNG

There is a skill that replenishes ammo, it's called Support Station under Medic, requires a mod to replenish ammo though.
You are confused m1 is semi auto the m44 is bolt action semi auto marksman rifle should never have comparable damage to bolt action also no guns need nerfing until we see how they work in the full game you think getting to shot down is bad try one shot down clearly you didn't you the marksman rifles enough to even say anything about them
I must have mistyped, as that is what I meant, I know the M1 is magazine 5 (starting?) and bolt M.44. Watch any video from the big youtubers, they all stated the same thing, best gun by far is M1. SO much damage with semi auto + the huge dmg boost to headshots. I'm all for having a archetype that sits back and snipes, any good team should have one. That gun just does too much dps atm, you are right in respect to see how it pans out when the full game drops. However, we can only base opinions on what we've played and that is why I stated what I did.
Just a note on this, while I don't disagree I think there will be more diverse build once the game finally drops. On the flip side however, this does give the rogue players a fighting chance since I'm pretty sure rogue players can't actually go to an ammo cache to resupply. Was this an even comparison, i.e. blue vs. blue or purple vs. purple with the same mods? The dev video I watched seemed to suggest that each base weapon within an archetype was designed similarly. For instance, marksman rifles, and only marksman rifles have a headshot perk. Applying various mods to a particular marksman rifle can significantly increase that headshot perk so it's not really model driven as much as archetype driven. Numbers need to be normalized. It should come down to preference rather than because one does insanely more dps.
