    Am I the only one?

Am I the only one who thinks it is ridiculous that you can take an entire clip to the facial region and lose half your health, and then fall 6ft to lose the other half? The fall damage is intense! Other than that, I played this game WAY to much and cannot wait for the full release.

Oh and also, not being able to leave the dark zone because you ran by some AI 2 blocks back and are still considered in combat. That needs to change.

I agree, being shot should not put you in combat. If you shot back, yes you are in combat.

I think ti's ridiculous that everyone is a long distance marathon runner and will never show signs of fatigue in the game. Just kidding, I'm not expecting this game to be a simulator. And they're called magazines not clips

what? if u get shot u are in combat. If you shoot somebody at extraction and u run, now the person is chasing you. U expect to just leave and not face the enemy? This is the DZ. It's NOT a safe place.

Then we'd have people who would run to the safehouse or a checkpoint simply to avoid getting killed.
I don't agree with this at all.

The only thing I agree with in this is that fall damage is pretty intense.

I can agree with this to some degree but believe if you where to scale the fall to the enemies you would be able to fall off a 6 story building without taking damage.

As there is no other method of transportation I would find it frustrating to have to stop sprinting every thirty seconds.

No I'm referring to just wanting to go into the checkpoint and maybe restock, or buy some merch, but somewhere along the line, someone or some AI randomly fired at you and it says you are in combat and you run around for 5 minutes trying to find them and kill them. AI from 6 blocks back that you chose to avoid and will not leave their little corner, should not make you ineligible for the check point.

If you get shot, and you get hit, and you lose health, you are in combat.
If you shoot your gun, and it hits a target, and they lose health, you are in combat.

If some NPC is looking your direction, you should NOT be in combat.
If the NPC hits me, sure, but just knowing that I exist shouldn't mean I am in combat.

Well yes, this is why I was being facetious with my statement. The game isn't a simulator, fall damage is high I imagine to deter people from jumping off high places to escape risky situation. Bullet damage is also a specific way to make things fun. So to expect a realistic fall damage along side a realistic bullet damage wouldn't work for a game like this.

I'm not saying yoi should be able to fall off a building and run away....but cmon, any of us could hop off the top of a box truck and not die. The difference between jumping down something 5ft and something 10ft is a catastrophic difference. So maybe falling 6 ft shouldn't take half your health but maybe 20%...while falling further like 10-12ft should take more health and maybe make you a little slow to take off again. I'd actually prefer realistic fall damage and not this over sensitive, non PF Flyer wearing sissy crap. We aren't running around in high heels.
