    weapon switching

I found the double tab, to switch to the sidearm, is unreliable.

The system in the alpha did a good job and worked every time. (Tab Y = switch to sidearm - hold Y = switch to secondary)

    Same problem

I had the same problem, switching to sidearm was very unreliable. I found it unreliable in both the closed and open beta though.

Because it was the same system.

The alphas system was maybe unorthodox but it worked and was reliable.

    YES x1000000000000000000

At least make it an option in the settings.

    Why it matters

I've often had the secondary weapon switch not work for me. Some people might think that it isn't that big a deal but the only time players switch to their secondaries is in emergencies, we need this weapon swap to be reliable otherwise it could lead to us dying.

It does make more sense to tap for primary toggle and to hold for secondary. I was constantly having issues with the current system.

I actually prefer the double tab for the sidearm, if your in the situation that you need to quickly pull out your sidearm to put a couple more rounds down range, I don't want to wait a second (the same delay time as pulling out your heavy weapon is destiny) to get my sidearm out. I never had any problem with the double tap for the switch, and I really liked it this way. maybe cause I use an Elite controller? dunno.

I'm not an elitist I swear.

I also liked the alpha method of weapon switching as well. If they do leave it as is I wouldn't mind holding down Y bringing up a menu like in Rainbow six Vegas so I can select weapon that way as well.

    Toggle option

Best way to do it is to make it an option no matter what a player prefers, he'll be happy.

I stumbled a few times switching weapons, chalked it up to me needing to get a feel for the method.
