The increase in NPC bullet sponging is ******ED.

Seriously, I don't know why did they increase the Bullet Sponging for NPCS and demage for NPCS by so much. Seriously I has started to become a point in which it is not fun especially if u get swamped by a bunch of them suddenly due to their spawn rates.

TURN it back to the previous setting in the closed beta.. It was fine. For goodness sake this is a TOM CLANCY branding on it. so it is ridiculous that the player empties a full mag on an NPC and his is still up.

Honestly I LOVE the new difficulty in the DZ it makes it actually hard when no one is around! And PvE is way too weak outside of the dark zones I rarely find the hard difficulties challenging.

How can you be swamped by them: the AI is too easy (if you are being swamped you are really doing something wrong), also this is not a tactical fps if you want a tactical fps like arma 3 then go play that game, this is supposed to be an rpg-mmo-ish game (if you are new to the rpg's-mmo genre than I suggest you look at what rpg's-mmo's do/play like). It sucks when you don't know what kind of game you are playing but asking them to change it back is not a good thing. Play with some tactics; don't run and gun into npc's and you won't get swamped...

just quoting IGN: "Created by Massive Entertainment, The Division is a new game in the Tom Clancy franchise. Developed using the Snowdrop engine, it is an open world, multiplayer RPG game set in a world devastated by a deadly pathogen in which players will fight enemy factions, loot abandoned buildings and level up their player as they explore a ravaged New York City."

what would you call it IImayneII?

this quote is form the division home page: "Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online action-RPG etc etc..."

perhaps we can't call it a reall MMO but they themselves called it an online action-RPG (with many people free roaming around in Manhattan and being able to quest with eachother and... well you get the idea right? MMO according to wikipedia: massively multiplayer online game (MMOG or MMO) is an online game which is capable of supporting large numbers of players simultaneously in the same instance (or world).[1] MMOs usually have at least one persistent world, however some games differ. These games can be found for most network-capable platforms, including the personal computer, video game console, or smartphones and other mobile devices.

MMOGs can enable players to cooperate and compete with each other on a large scale, and sometimes to interact meaningfully with people around the world. They include a variety of gameplay types, representing many video game genres.

so yeah it is not a MMO 'cause it does everything mentioned above??? (except perhaps the large scale part?). Anyway whatever it is it is not a tactical shooter.

Stop crying like a little *****. My gawd COD kids these days...

Imo in the closed beta I found killing the NPCs way too easy!

You want to try playing Resident Evil or Borderlands haha! Try spending 20 minutes downing a boss! Unloading clip after clip into them!

This is the type of game it is, if you don't like it, don't buy it and stick to your crappy COD.

Try playing a RPG style game like destiny. Its not a full RPG but it is close as far as ads(NPC's) work. You get multiple enemy types who as there level goes up have more health. Get to lvl 8 and stick on some purple dark zone kit and take on the DZ level 9 npcs and then the lvl 4 ones by the post office. You will notice the vast difference. The game needs this type of enemy build otherwise your starting guns will be just as affective on end level enemies as what they are on the first enemy you kill leaving camp Hudson. If we didn't have power creep then we may as well be playing gears of war in new York, and I dont think many of us would like that.

With an high tier sniper and the right statsbuild with equipment and the right skills used just one single bullet to the head on.... two for elite and a lot more for amored elite and bosses ifyou don't have high amorpenetration.

    tldr
it's a rpg and just plays like this..... statsbuilding>aimskills.
