Everyone sayin they only played like 25 min. I got 20 hours clocked 😂 police M4 purple that does 4300 DPS, last 10 min till server went down I was merkin everyone. Manhunt for the whole 10. What a rush!!

Compensated for a free demo? how would you even work out what is owed you? Muppet. Go hug a teddy bear, rock in the corner and jibber for 3 hours if that is how badly it affects your life. grow up. 1am your time would hardly be considered a prime time. i wish i was in a timezone that servers only went down at 1am, it is 8pm my time... that sir, is prime time.

seriously? someone has to have the maintenance happen at a crap time and Australia certainly doesnt have a population worth a damn, especially on a gaming front.

You probably should save your cash then, the words "planned maintenance" suggest it might be a regular thing in the live game too. *phew* lucky you, $100 saved!! you can go out and buy a nice new my little pony or something instead, i hear maintenance downtime on those is fairly rare.

I will say it is weird that a three hour maintenance be planned for a beta weekend... one would imagine that waiting till Tuesday wouldnt have been that big a drama. Fair enough emergency maintenance, but planned maintenance .. thats odd to do on a short beta weekend

Compensated for this downtime? Are you high? It's an open beta. Server maintenance is to be expected. Hell, server maintenance is to be expected even on a fully released game.

Why would you expect to have a beta schedule tailored to you when you don't live in the primary time zone of the customer base? Out of the top 100 gaming countries in the world, the first 3 spend more money on games than the following 97 combined. If you don't live in Japan, China, or the United States, guess what - you're part of those 97.

The worst beta you've ever been in? You are delusional and clearly have not played many betas.

Ubisoft hates Australia? Makes sense. A developer/publisher hates an entire country. Totally legit.

The few replies to this thread encompass everything that is wrong with the gaming community. Someone said you can't have the toy you really want, and now you're throwing a fit in the middle of the store.

some people have lives outside the game and dont take holiday at work just to play the division beta (and then watch the maintenance screen )

I'm not sure as to why they do maintenance during Beta times. but I'm sure they have a reason.... maybe it is because they dont like people in around Australasia.? Who knows but the gremlins of technology.

I will not gripe because I cannot play for 3 hours this Saturday morning, I'm gonna play Destiny for the 3 hours... that'll give me something to do.
