I like how UbiSoft does not take part in the discussion here. Throwing this notification at out feet like "deal with it, we don´t care". Is UbiSoft the new EA concerning communication with the players, the guys who pay their salaries? Great time for a bit gaming in Germany is Saturday morning, but no, UbiSoft thinks it´s time for a freaking 3 hours maintenance...3h? Even EA does that in max 1h. And what are you actually doing during this? Improving the game, fixing stuff, adding stuff, etc? A damn note would be nice to have. But why...we are only the players. Sorry to say UbiSoft but your communication is absolutely crap! Glad I did not pre-order yet - and will not. No interested in a game which gets into maintenance on prime time where people play. What about beta servers for each region and make a downtime in these regions when not many play? The performance of the beta game so far is impressive (compared to many other games before) but you should really get your **** together and communicate with the players and potential buyers.
"Please follow this thread for any updates as the maintenance progresses"...that was actually a good joke. How if you don´t care about this whole discussion here at all?![]()
Why would you be compensated? Do you understand what a beta is? It's not a full game. Where downtime effects your game experience... It's a test so that the game can be tweaked and any bugs found and fixed... You should be grateful they have a open beta to allow this to happen. Not ***** about compensation...Originally Posted by Fishyblub Go to original post
Everyone wants something for nothing. Comments like yours and the people *****ing about beta servers going off line. And ruining there gaming time.. Just be happy we have all got to play and give Ubisoft constructive feedback not ***** that you want something for free....
So, contrary to your earlier post, it is a beta test (that I was kidding myself aboutOriginally Posted by Navhkrin Go to original post) rather than a demo? Your logic is a touch inconsistent

Well I prepaid it in June 2015, and the thanks for doing that is that I got my closed beta key 25 hours after they started the test servers. I got 3 hours of game test on the sunday and then the beta was over. Take a wild guess if I'm gonna pre-pay another game at Ubisoft/Uplay...Originally Posted by T1nfoil H4t Go to original post
ok so im in Australia and id jus like to say how old are you if you not old enough to stay up till 11 pm then your not old enough to play in the beta rated MA 15 +. Im sure if you ask your parents they will buy you Plants vs zombie or something eals that's PG .

Sincerely
a playstation player who understands most people have no clue what it takes to even make a game of this caliber!
I don't mind the maintenance as long as it helps the finished product. What I do take issue with is the transparency from the community team. I am sure with a bit of explanation by a community manager much of the ill feeling in the this thread could be quashed with some simple explanations . As well as beta testing the game the community managers should be beta testing their engagement with the player base, as that certainly needs some tweaking.
Smart people do not pre-order a game 10 months before release. Sorry to say, but you deserve what you get. Don´t get why people again and again and again pre-order and then complaint...next time...they pre-order again...nothing learned. I do not pre-order games for a long while now. Best you can do. If they already have your money, why should they bother to improve the game.Originally Posted by theQu4lm Go to original post

But you need to also consider that this Small window of opportunity is going to massively contribute to how the game sells. So, if that game is constantly getting patched, even during the beta phase, what kind of message is that sending?
-What I love about this is, if you're currently residing in US this is a typical sentiment of US Gamers. That is "We have it, and you cant have it so get over it". Now, I am not saying ALL American gamers are like this, but there are a few, and I get the impression you're one of them.
Yes, We (Australians, at least), Do NOT live in the primary timezone, but we are in the top 20 of gaming countries (source) so this DOES mean we matter. Moreso, Gaming in Australia is at least 2.0x More expensive than in the USA, so we as Australians (or Kiwis) would like to actually TRY the game before we blindly put our money on it and find out later we paid for a piece of ****. So yeah, We are upset, because we cant "have the toy we really want". And yes, We Will continue to throw fits until something is done about it.
-Honestly, This particular beta has been the worst beta, at least ive ever participated in; and i have participated in a couple of other betas by other companies, And Ubisoft by far has not had the most impressive track record when it comes to the betas. But, They do listen to their participants, if nothing else. The worst beta you've ever been in? You are delusional and clearly have not played many betas.
Ubisoft hates Australia? Makes sense. A developer/publisher hates an entire country. Totally legit.
The few replies to this thread encompass everything that is wrong with the gaming community. Someone said you can't have the toy you really want, and now you're throwing a fit in the middle of the store.
-I really hope you didn't ACTUALLY think we meant they ACTUALLY hate Australia and NZ. Yes, we are Clearly not the most "preferred" consumer base, but that doesnt mean WE dont enjoy playing the beta. That's all we're asking for; is a fair go and a fair trial period, so we can actually determine if we want to buy the game.
My favourite is the last point you make.
"This is what is wrong with the gaming community"
Take a step back bro and read what you had typed up.
off your high horse mate, you're exactly like the rest of us, and you've proven it more-so by posting that last comment.
Aussies are gamers, Kiwis are gamers. We just want a fair go at trying the game before we buy it. Honestly, the game had me sold at "Tom Clancy's" . But that is not the case for some other players who have even less time than I do to play the game (I've only played about 40 minutes since its release)
Call us whining, envious b*****s who cant get what we want cause daddy wont buy it for us, But All we want Is a FAIR GO
Yep, it's a horrible joke. Charging people ludicrous amounts of money to play (or not to play in this case) before the game is finished has become a new norm. I bet they make an absolute ton out of playing on people's longing and desire to play a game asap. It's seriously ****ing out of order if this is what you get for your money.Originally Posted by theQu4lm Go to original post
I very, very nearly spent the £75, but the terrible quality of their Siege servers just stopped me.
You won't do it again!
Also why do I need ****ing x-ray vision and a pattern recognition PhD to decipher half of these bloody forum captcha's?
