Do you see the amount of dislikes on this, Ubisoft?
This is the worst DLC I think I've ever seen for a game, granted its a pre-order incentive.
So you play in 1st person as a mammoth and have to kill a Rhino and some humans.
So this is basically you riding a mammoth but more restrictive as you actually ARE the Mammoth so that means you cant throw spears from it, or use your bow etc.
Nice. What kind of idea is this?
its the pre-order bonus for the game, so day one.Originally Posted by B3ANTOWN B3A5T Go to original post
I could not agree more - sometimes I wonder whether game developers are either lazy or they think the customers are really dumb.....?
1) how do the mechanics from riding a mammoth to playing AS a mammoth differ? Er, they don't.
Spend the entirety of the DLC punting everything? I haven't seen another attack apart from charge and punt.. I mean seriously? You can do all that in the core game.... So what are we paying for here...?
2) secondly, the Mammoth?? Seriously, all the animals in this games roster? And they go with (Yawn) the Wooley Mammoth? Why not make a DLC where you play as a bird or even as a Sabertooth (but in 3rd person) hunting, feeding and protecting your Cubs!! That would be cool.... But NO. We get the Mammoth. BORING!
It's the stooopidest DLC I've seen yet...

Tbh it is pretty bad. Controlling a Mammoth isn't that exciting, as it's basically the same as riding one, controls, POV and all. The missions are a mix of basic, lackluster and more of a chore than anything. Not to mention there's absolutely no plot or explanation for why anything is going on, specifically the spirit rhinos. The concept is a actually a good one and it could be really fun, yet it needs to be improved a lot.
