With the difference that in the streets we have imposed rules, because is serious stuff, in games we have something called fair behaviour. If you can do something, this does NOT mean you have to do that, as already stated by the guy above me. In online games this is called fair play, you cannot ruin other players experience and then justify yourself by saying "is in the game mechanics, so is not my fault if I do it"
Sorry, but your example doesn't fit the game (or other games).
Traffic laws prohibit certain behavior like speeding, running over pedestrians, etc. Just like game rules implemented by Ubi prohibit glitching, cheating or bug using.
    - opening doors/windows to get an early shot on the attacking team is neither of that.
    - opening doors/windows during prep phase was a glitch and got addressed
    - opening a window and having a clear shot on a spawning operator is bad map design and hopefully gets addressed too.

And another thing, a sneaky tactical shooter like R6 has no "fair play", actually quite the opposite. Both teams' task is to find the best way to overcome their opponents or secure the objective. Which mostly means killing the others with shooting, C4ing, wallbanging, droning and whatsoever. It's not that an online shooter has ethics like in romantic wild west or middle age times where people agreed upon certain rules for their standoffs.
If following the "fair play" logic, it would be unfair to make murder holes, drone scout your opponents and whatever.

I think its bad for the game to be able to spawn kill. Flanking is fine and running out for a short while but not when you spawn and take 2 steps and get head shotted and your team mates from the spawn. Ruining the game, it takes so long to find a game only to join and take 2 steps and die. In turn when it happens to me i do it back and i feel like its a wasted game when the entire defending team comes out to kill the attacking team and whats the point seriously. Just make the game unlimited time, and both side can attack or defend. Cos whos sieging who?

yeah... seeing some good comments here..
I think it has been played 'wrong' for quite some time, where the defenders 'wait' to be slaughtered.
they SHOULD be able to shoot outside, pick you off at breaching points... the only way you can really speak of spawncamping, is when they shoot you within 5 seconds of spawning, or when you haven't even moved..
the way you can see a defender running outside works perfect as well, so they can't go running/hiding outside, giving an imbalance to the gameplay.
you just can't suspect the defending team to play sitting duck.
this is an evolution in the way the game is meant to be played. be carefull from game start.. not just from when you breach or enter...

(maybe the only thing that can change is that the defending team shouldn't be able too look on outside camera's before game start? this could fix the problem where defending team knows where you're coming from...)

Kinda of breaks the whole attacking vs defending nature of the game when the attackers end up defending outside before they can even make it to the building. As others have pointed out, IRL any baddie that poked their head out would lose it pretty much instantly, sure you can make an argument it's a game, but even in terms of a game it breaks balance completely. But in the end if this isn't changed, it's just another thing to poke fun of at this joke of a game.

I have no idea how they ever thought this would be a competitive game with balance problems such as this, on top of just piss poor hit registration.

As far as I could tell, this is precisely what people are annoyed about. More or less, on most maps, you can cheese the attackers at spawn quite easily. A lot of people say that is easy kills, but this doesn't reflect the whole of reality. When you're playing people who really know how to aim (like serenity), then you're in for a world of hurt. Hate that guy on plane....

I think instant spotting would be helpful, but if the devs don't want to make it instant, I think it would be nice to have an indicator on your HUD somewhere. Most of the time when it happens, I end up looking everywhere as I try to find his tag on the map. The more definitely and quickly defenders outside are marked, the bigger their risk and possibly less likely they are to step outside.

I love when attackers hang on the outside of the building. Squad tells me when they are near the window and I tear down the door/window and shoot them. The best thing you can do is have someone on your squad watch your back.

I've never seen a competitive gamer whining about defenders running outside and killing the attackers. That's a problem only for the non-competitive crowd.

Obviously they should tweak certain things to avoid the super quick spawn shooting but otherwise the game needs the option of defenders going outside to give them flanking options. What people don't seem to understand is without this capability, it is possible for attackers to always be pushing defenders into a box; getting outside that perimeter is what creates the best opportunity for defenders to win, otherwise it boils down to getting lucky in a gunfight every match.
Then why not just spawn the defenders outside and say screw it to defense gear?

Or take the disk out and replace it with any generic FPS shooter out there.

I'd agree just like before, spawn kills need to stop but going outside and shooting from windows need to stay.

    You are contradicting yourself.
Going outside and window shooting make it just like any other generic FPS.
Spawn killing is frowned upon in any FPS.
They need to make defenders red when they stand in an open window or immediately tagged when coming outside and spawn the attackers on the rooftops.
The early alpha builds & demo had the defenders coming out of a helii onto the roof, that is how it should be.
