Couple of days ago, I played some casual on kafe dostoyevsky and we were defending bombs in Train Museum.
So at the start of the action phase I went upstairs into cigar lounge and spotted outside into christmas market. Saw 2 downed 2 with Headshots.
Waited for a while downstairs on the stairs watching the window to bakery rooftop. Heard someone rapelling outside.
Ran upstairs. shouted YOLO and jumped out of the 2nd floor window onto the bakery rooftop - got 3 kills
Was so funny to me that I couldn't stop laughing

It's a cheap move that needs to be addressed more seriously by Ubisoft. There is a delay in the "spotted" mechanic when a defender goes outside. A defender who play on Casual can guess quite easily which spawn point the attackers are going to start at. The spawns are too open and it is entirely easier for a defender to get the drop on an attacker who hasn't had his character spawn yet.

Here's an idea. Have a choice whether or not to spawn as a character or a drone. If you choose character, you get a an area in which you can move freely inside so you can position yourself for the start of the round. That way, if a turd of a defender wants to play "oh look at me guys I'm so funny watch this" he will soon be regretful in his choice of actions as the attacker who chose to spawn already can see him goofing off with the windows and doors.

It seems to be that it's always ranked groups that either aren't mature enough to play the game as intended or they got embarrassed in ranked and wanted to take it out on the random casual teams by going outside right away or running 5 recruit shields.

How is camping at windows to spot where the enemy is coming from "not as intended"?
You know that this is not a boxing fight right? You don't have to go when you hear the bell ring. Just mind your surrounding, let someone from your team watch the windows.
Attackers got longrange weapons, use them

Lulz, get out of here with that long range weapon BS. We all know (well, i guess you don't) that range is not a factor in this game.

the problem is not camping at the window. The problem is that the defenders have the drop on attackers right from the start. There is no counter but luck on the attacking side if the defenders have open lanes to the attacker's spawn point. The fact that I can rip down a few windows and doorways facing the most likely spawn and sit there waiting for the attackers to pop up is an unfair advantage that goes to the defenders.

You can be as "tactical" as you want as an attacker but 9.999999999999/10 the defender will already be waiting for your head to pop out.

Again, "long range weapons" don't play a factor in this game. I can roll with a pistol or a Mac-11 and snipe people just as easy. Hence why people are doing it.

I'm just gonna leave this here...

Unfortunately, unlike the image in your head, there aren't 100 cops waiting outside the building, there are only 5 people running towards it, so it's very possible that you can sneak by these 5 people, especially since those 5 people have all run into the building.

But hey, let's take your thought experiment further. If this was "REAL LIFE". there wouldn't be an invisible red wall blocking terrorists from leaving the building before the round started. Similarly, if this was "REAL LIFE", your eyes wouldn't start bleeding red when you leave the building after the fight started, and a big sign wouldn't appear above your head saying "HEY COPS I'M RIGHT HERE".

Or how about the part where if you were a terrorist and you saw the SWAT team breach into the building you're trying to blow up, you would blow it up already. Or what typically happens in hostage situations where the terrorists threaten to kill a hostage if they see any cops moving in on the building. And then actually do it. And don't "lose the round" for doing so. And how come these idiots only managed to take a single person hostage? And what kind of three story bank only has ONE person inside of it in the middle of the day?

So hey, I guess it's not real life and Ubisoft can do what they want.

This. If you are consistently getting killed from outside defenders you have horrible strategy and horrible aim. The attackers have every advantage in that situation.

It's such a losing strategy for the defenders that I rarely see people doing it. In fact, other than 5v2 or 5v1 situations, its been a long long time since I've seen a team do it.
