What device do you play Trials Frontier on & Does it over-heat etc. ????
Hi, This is a post to ALL my Fellow Riders !!
I was just wondering what device everyone else played Frontier on and whether or not you get any over-heating issues then followed by the notorious speed-up <> speed-down problem at-all ??
I only play on my Un-Rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 running on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop !! (I know some people play across multiple devices)
It does over-heat some times but not too often (usually happens about twice a week) it really depends on how long I've been playing, usually heats-up when I've been playing for around an hour then the speed-up <> slow-down problem gradually creeps-in until it's unplayable.....Takes about 10-15mins after it starts to heat-up before it becomes unplayable !!
So, what device you play on, is it rooted or un-rooted also what ROM and OS are you running, because I was curious to see which devices suffer from this over-heating problem as it seems to be the root cause of the continuous speed-up <> slow-down bug that we've been playing with for AGES !?
Does everyone suffer from this OR Is it only certain devices, ROMs and OS's OR Does it simply happen from playing too long etc. etc. !?!?
What-ever the cause of it is, it would be nice if they could get it fixed once and for all as I don't have any other game that does this !!
I look forward to hearing your views on this.....Thanks in Advance if you post a reply !!

Hi mate
I play it on asus ZenFone 2 with 2 gb ram and 16 gb rom
5.5 inch screen with lollipop 5.0.1
the phone is unrooted
As for me the phone never heats up but replaying a track straight for 20 min does make the game go slow or fast depending on its mood he he

Google Nexus 7, Android 5.1.1, un-rooted, 32 GB, 1 GB RAM, CPU Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9
Heats after 30 min of playing TF. Lags when hot. I guess this depends on CPU.
Also lags when battery is <10%.
TF drains battery very fast. I can reach only 60% during night, when it's grind event only 40% :/ This device is too week for TF.

Galaxy S5 - no problems for the moment, but this overheating issue was a big concern for me a few months back. Same with the gamesplay speed issues.

I have Samsung S4 mini for daily use, it plays fine. No major heating unless i forgot FT on for like an hour on idle. Still lags sometimes, freezes for 2-3sec.
Other Samsung S5 mini somewhat broken, no sounds
using it currently only for playing. It has some speed issues, after ~20min it goes 2x speed less than second period for few times within 5minutes, after that no issues so far.
Got just new cheap work phone LG C50 Leon, haven't tried it yet.
The issue isn't with phones currently. Ubi should upgrade their servers... I can't load bunker matches or top track times...

iphone 6... never has heat issues... rarely if ever see lag (I may be confused between my ipad)
ipad 3... getting old... heats some (can barely notice through my thin cover) but definitely lags as of the last 2 releases. Usually fixes itself when I kill/restart game.
