Can't connect to private games with certain people | Forums

Hello,

I'm experiencing such a weird and bad issue,... when I try to play with certain players in a private game, whether they invite me or I invite them, the following error pops up



My and also my friend's NAT is always strict, whether I have firewall on/off..

What's weird about this is that one of our friends can invite us both and it works with him!

Any possible help?

I get the exact same error when i try to connect as well. Only to certain people. To add, I have no firewall enabled and I have opened all the ports on my router that are mentioned on the Ubisoft support site. When that failed, I opened the same ports on my gateway. When that failed, I gave myself a static IP address and proceeded to do both of the aforementioned actions again. When that failed, I tried a "mix and match" of both the router and gateway settings. When that failed, I disabled UPnP on my router, which was mentioned to try in another thread. When that failed, I tried disabling UPnP on my gateway. When that failed, I began trying every combination of all said actions.

To be clear, nothing worked. Also, I do know that I was able to connect to other parties through various stages of my troubleshooting process.

I've now completely exhausted everything offered on support sites and forums. What else is there to do/try?
