By the way!
If you want to create for this building competition but only like making speedrun lines and not ninjas, Make a speedrun line anyway!
Although you won't be considered for prizes I will still consider your track to be shown when I run all of the tracks at Summer Games Done Quick in July
The first 45 minutes is me showing the best current Game Theme speedrun tracks from track central and some of the funny and awesome challenges in the base game and dlc.
So there is plenty of time to show and commentate on speedrun lines, so don't shy from building!
The Ninja Race At SGDQ
The ninja Race on the tracks built by the winners of this building competition will all be shown back to back in the latter 45 minutes.
The total time slot for Trials this Summer at Games Done Quick will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
This means the amount of picked Ninja Tracks to be ran at GDQ is the amount we can get into 45 minutes Comfortably
This could be anywhere from 8-15 showcased tracks depending on length!, So get those tracks in regardless of your building experience!
Also someone will ask, No I am not going to partake myself in the Ninja Race, I am a commentator for it.

I currently have two tracks coming for this, hopefully I don't get too lazy and actually get them done for deadline. Building a nice ninja line is very hard for me but I'll try my best
Also a question regarding the tag on track name. Is it [GDQ] or GDQ? Saw one track released with name GDQ.
And if you're still looking for game inspired tracks, creator ANBIRTH on PS4 have one Pokemon themed track and also Donkey Kong inspired track which suffers a bit low frame rate though. Couldn't find videos of them.
Anyways, can't wait to see what people come up with this.![]()
You can build an easy level 1 or hard extreme and that will be good,Originally Posted by KALzzone Go to original post
Also you can also build a Medium or Hard and I will still play it at the event, Just wont be in Prizes ^^
THTDE accidently used GDQ,Originally Posted by KALzzone Go to original post
The track tag is [GDQ]
So like [GDQ] K8: Track Name
Thanks for the track examples, I will check these out! :POriginally Posted by KALzzone Go to original post

Looking forward to everyone's tracks ^^
I have some ideas for tracks, but since I am garbage at the editor, I thought I would share them and see if anyone wants to give it a go.
Smash Bros themed track- I originally was going to try and make this, but know it wont turn out as I envisioned it. Take 5-8 smash bro maps and make them a ninja CP or two each, then portal into another one. Yoshis island would be doable, the Samus level with the lava is for sure doable, final destination could happen. Random things like fox shooting his gun for a fail area etc... plenty other smash bro themed maps could me made. But thought it would be a cool idea for someone who is solid at the editor.
A Zelda themed track would be awesome. Ride from Hyrule field to the castle and show off other areas of any of the zelda games you remember. Plenty could be done with this.
A fairly simple idea would be a rayman track. Collect the floating orb things and make it a forest theme like most of the levels. It could turn out really nice if someone took the time to do it right.
Other tracks like Kirby track, Fallout, Sonic, donkey kong etc....
Also, don't be afraid to make the track difficult.Everyone running has passed plenty of 4s and some 5s so solid level 3's should be good for marathon safe stuff. We want to show as many different ninja and speed run techniques as possible during the run. BW/FW is totally fine. If it is a tough track, just make it shorter so we can beat it in 5ish minutes after solid practice. The two ninjas submitted so far are awesome. Keep em coming!
