    DZ Entrance camping

    I'm sure this has been brought up. Spent some time searching but didn't find it, I am sure I just missed to so Mods please remove if I am wrong for posting this.

    So over the beta weekend my friend and I were only able to get into the DZ 3 times successfully without being killed as soon as we walked through the gate. A group of 4 was sitting on the other side, killing anyone who came through. We tried going to one of the other entrances and there was a different group of only 2 people doing the same thing. I don't know how they could go about fixing this because I am not a game developer. I just wanted to voice it since it was a huge problem for us. It sucks that a game can be so good but the people that play ti choose to make it suck by doing things like this.

    I think you had a bad bit of luck.

    I played quite a bit and only one DZ instance I was in had entrance camping.

    And that was more due to the fact there is a hiding spot up high that rogues like to go to and half the server ended up at this entrance/respawn point fighting these rogue agents and things just got out of hand in that area.

    Just pick another place to spawn back in. There are multiple entrances to the DZ and the player count will be the same as in the Beta, so you will have 3 times the space with the same amount of players. Not every spawn can be effectively camped.

    I always switch to grenade as soon as leaving the safehouse or entering the DZ, you have enough time to equip and throw it before you die.
    You probably wont wipe out four camping idiots but you will disrupt them enough so that when you almost instantly respawn you can dive out the door and nade them again.
    You can repeat this till you have a nice pot of cash courtesy of four dead camping idiots.
    Better if you can take yourself out with your own grenade too, reduces the chance of you going rogue and loosing more loot.
    This was a favourite money spinner for me when you got rogues camping the scaffolding outside the safehouse, I just went out the window exit and naded them into oblivion for profits.

    This is also why a long TTK comes in handy or you would just be insta dead with no option to retaliate.

    You had very few DZ entrances in the BETA.

    By level 30, after which the entire DZ switches to level 30 everywhere, you will have a lot more entrances, spread throughout 24 players.

    i heard a few similar complaints like this and it literally did not happen to me once, and i put over 20 hours in to the beta. I do like the grenade strategy though if it does happen

    I had a few instances where this happened. The second time I entered I just picked a different checkpoint to respawn at.

    I did experience this once in the beta (played more that 25 hours). I suspect it will become a problem at launch along with other issues with the whole DZ set-up.

    If the rumours of an Open Beta are true we should see significantly more players trying the game and get a more realistic view of how the game will really play at launch.

    It was brought up at least a year ago, they said at E3 last year they had an anti DZ entrance camping system but i have no idea what it is or if it was in the beta.

    There should be a short "immunity" when you enter. If you attack or move a certain distance then the immunity expires.

    I'm normally no friend of the Rogues and I absolutely hate players, who are mistaking "The Division" with games like CoD and turning the whole Dark Zone into just a stupid deathmatch-arena. So I want some changes against just camping cowardly at extraction points, but...

    in this case I have to say: You know about there are more entrances to the Dark Zone ? Same situation, you've told, happened to me (and friends) also sometimes. We've just decided to take an other entrance and if we wanted to, we then started an attack versus the camping cowards from behind
