It's a RPG.
I liked the concept and preordered it, still I'd like to be able to crouch and prone and they should improve the way you become renegate because if someone try to kill me he become red but not renegate because you have to kill him so if I don't want to die I have to kill him first and it's me who become a renegate !
I think you already know how I feel about it.
Was super hyped..all indications made it look like Ghost Recon Future Soldier II,
movement, gunsmith type loadouts, cover system, sprint to cover..but then
reality hit.
No Lobbies
No Prone or Crouch
No true representation of your rifles damage
(anyone who gets shot in the head with a M1A should go down..instantly)
No Squad system.
To much MMO and not enough Shooter.
Im still getting it because I have lots of
friends who want to roll the campaign.
Back to Future Soldier for now![]()
I loved it! I've been following the game since the E3 2013 reveal, when I really enjoyed what I saw! Playing it was a blast, and was exactly what I thought it would be (a gear-based RPG with some shooter mechanics). I'm glad Massive stuck to their guns (so to speak) and have created a game like this in a Clancy-inspired world. It feels refreshing in a market saturated with 'me me me' shooters to see a game trying a bold direction like this. I'm eagerly looking forward to the release, so I can get back to the story! And the occasional excursion to the DZ to get better kit!

Caveat: I hope that GRW tries to be distinct, but with much more of an authentic-feeling military shooter experience. As I continuously bang on about...
Based on what i've play so far, the Division has a lot of potential...the RPG/Shooter elements of the game seems pretty engaging once you begin to progress & develop your character...but, what I really think makes the Division stand on its own is its believable storyline....its a real-life "SHTF" scenario, that if you take a moment to really grasp the concept of the story, the atmosphere, and its characters - then it begins to capture that strong sense of emotion & psychological impact of what can happen when society unexpectedly breaks down during a major crisis.Originally Posted by UbiKeeba Go to original post
I loved the beta, put 30 hours into it. Went in expecting an action RPG, got an action RPG that looked stunning and had fantastic visuals that I constantly gawked at and talked about. Everyone at my workplace that played it is now asking me constantly about it because they know I've got a relationship with Ubisoft and they won't shutup about it. So I think that's a pretty good sign...
Well considering the beta for The Division is now over, it won't be handled.Originally Posted by Roozraf Go to original post
There may be an open beta before release, but it's just rumor at this point.
I really wanted to love this game, I really did, I loved the concept of a Tom Clancy game set in an apocalyptic setting. Then the wheels started falling off, and now they all have. It was created as an MMO, with RPG game play which doesn't fit Tom Clancy games, it just feels like a marketing tactic to sell more. Now I am looking at an article stating that Ubisoft is locking monthly content behind the season pass. Sounds a lot like pay to win and just a massive cash grab. So I am getting really curious as to if in their eyes, does Ubisoft think all this stuff is good business practice, or is it a thing of give us all your money for the least amount of work possible?Originally Posted by ITK5 Go to original post
Ok, that is just wrong in so many levels but oh so funny... I really need it to laugh out loud today!Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
Glad I am not the only one who thinks that way about UBI...Originally Posted by jeannaq Go to original post
