@ lesorsier.....The last 3 videos you've made are quality as always mate, I especially like the "quick-flip-to-back-wheel-flick-across-the-gap" that you do in the middle (4-6secs) of your Safe Escape run !!
Looks like a smart little fast track to ride, I'm looking forward to playing it soon (hopefully) since I didn't receive ANY of the Prizes from the last Bunker Season because the game crashed just as it was about to give me the prizes but when I logged back in I hadn't received anything.....I've been in contact with Ubi Support and they've said they're speaking with the people that can issue the items and will have some news for me soon, it's been 2 weeks already though, I just hope they can re-issue the prizes to me !!
@lesorsier: I believed that some of the obstacles were luck-based, not all of them, but some. And I don't like the 3rd obstacle on Widowmaker either, I use a different approach, I forward-flip, but I land on my back wheel, and it does work but the success rate is ok but not great, and it takes a while to recover as well and it isn't a recommended technique, but I cba to bunny-hop that anyway. But I think both the 3rd and 4th obstacles are still luck-based, the 4th obstacle is a nightmare, to me it's either hit or miss. I don't like the 6th obstacle either, but at least it isn't as ridiculous as the others, but it's still harder than a few obstacles, you need to be almost Ninja-like to nail it...Originally Posted by lesorsier Go to original post
As for Forbidden Path, I actually hate this track. The run is excellent, and you totally nailed the last obstacle as well, which I know is very tricky at best. And the starting few seconds looks very nice as well, the start that everyone would hope for, but to put those 2 sections in a run and to get it right is one of the hardest runs to achieve with the Donkey. I'm not looking forward to this one again...
And Safe Escape, I noticed 2 things that you did differently, 1. the slope 4 to 5 seconds in and 2. skipping 1 obstacle at the 7 to 8 second mark. I'm not sure if it is faster, but the time is still faster than anybody has achieved on Android. Now after you hit the slope momentarily, it does look slow after you hit the slope but you still would have been quicker, and I'm not sure about the 7 to 8 second mark, but if your alternative route works, I have you to thank. Great run, even though the time froze at the end, but at least you sneaked in a 12.999 second time in!
I wonder if you are human or not...
@ FatalDragon: You have such bad luck when it comes to Bunker prizes... Sorry to hear that. You will get those prizes soon, as long as Ubi Support isn't a pain...
@HeaverBeaver115
- Widowmaker, frontflip-backwheel is wrong way (you lose too much time after) The best would be to connect 3rd and 4th, use speed from 3rd and fly over 4th, which I did it a few times but crashed later.
- Forbidden Path is not that difficult once you understand what you have to do. Everything is in lending spots. If you hit the right entry spot,(before the final jump for example) the last jump just happen
- And route on Save Escape was a little harder for me, much harder then regular route. Problem with regular route is that you have to stop anyway in one point, so all previous speed has no sense. So why jump back and push forward, then stop anyway, when you can push forward directly,..it looks slow but after you don't break...well, let everybody try, then we can decide, which one is faster,..
As I didn't get any new track from event,.. #$%@# I play some old tracks these days,..
This one you can consider luck-based
Very Nice run on Underground Slopes mate.....I like the way you JUST miss the last ramp with a nose-dive over the line !!![]()
On Widowmaker, I know I said it isn't recommended to do what I did, and I don't like getting dragged by my back wheel anyway... If I do go back to that, then I'll do the bunnyhop on the 3rd obstacle, although it is hard to get that right, but it is the best way, and I know it is as well, but I don't do it because I was used to doing the other thing there instead.Originally Posted by lesorsier Go to original post
On Forbidden Path, I know what to do, but I just don't like the track, and the time-saver near the end and the fact that everything else needs to go according to plan as well. The time-saver near the end is tricky but not as hard as the others mentioned earlier.
On Safe Escape, I'm still not sure which route is best, but you're right about the slope, the sooner you go of it, the better, and it is difficult to go off the slope and go over the next set of obstacles, including the spinning saw AND go back to a decent speed after you've left the slope with decent positioning as well onto the next obstacles. It is hard to get it right though, but I should think it's worth it.
As for Underground Slopes, great run, but the only thing that is luck-based there is the crucial time-saver that you do with the Bronco, but it's harder to pull off with the Donkey because the Donkey can only just about reach that and that's with leaning back and forward at the correct time, but I agree that you might have to get lucky there, as well as the nose-dive at the end too. I also liked where you did the same thing at the 4 to 5 second mark.
Also I saw the post you made where you didn't get anything in the event, that is unlucky, despite you getting the top 1%, I think you should have earned something at least, but it is down to luck though unfortunately. But sorry to hear that lesorsier.
Cheers.![]()
Yeap, I thought that would be interesting approach,.. but not easy to do,...Originally Posted by FatalDragon69 Go to original post
As regards, prizes, it happened before, but as much as I know, people get their prizes at the end. Just you have to bothering with the support and be consistent![]()
thanks man, idea of this is go straight (with enough speed), and without, you finish like you said, nose-divingOriginally Posted by FatalDragon69 Go to original post
@HeaverBeaver115 That's why the 3rd jump on Widowmaker is the most problematic for me. I always try bunny.
Long wheelie on Donkey is always luck, at least for me. Kartank do some interesting thing here (Underground Slopes) He go straight, without wheelie, just at the end of platform he do something that it looks like wheelie + bunny (it is hard to follow him and look at him at the same time) and jump very low, touch the edge of the next platform and push him self straight through finish line...hm, little hard to explain, have to see this.
Well I am again in 1%, Hope to have more luck this week.
Until then,.... something old (I got lucky here...1st try)
Well, if I'm on Widowmaker again which is quite likely, then I'll get in the habit of Bunnyhopping on the 3rd obstacle, should have been doing that in the 1st place.Originally Posted by lesorsier Go to original post
Underground Slopes, I think I know what you mean, and I can see how that works, I wonder if anyone on Android did what you described what KarTanK was doing... The times on Android looks more competitive than on iOS for that particular track, so maybe KarTanK wasn't the only one who did that, but I'll check. I'll keep note of it when I get to it, as Underground Slopes isn't on my hit-list right now.
As for Devil Hopping, now you've got a case of first-time syndrome, and the run looks pretty good too, clean, fast and useful as always, and it's more impressive since it's 1st time too and I bet that felt good as well. I like the little back-wheel clip on the log at the 14 second mark, except I would land before the log and then shift backwards and then forwards at the log, but what you've done there is more efficient and quicker, but a little bit riskier but it's better as well. Right at the end, I tend to lean back and forth on the final slope just slightly before the finish line, just so I can get my head past the finish line sooner for a quicker finish. Also at the 5th second, I normally do a massive jump but I think landing on the slope in the middle of that leap is better than doing one massive jump, since you're spending less time in the air, less air-time = quicker time overall. Nice one!

@HeaverBeaver115 The back wheel trick at the end is tricky to hit but it should be faster. Massive jump in this case is slow...
Well, I got one new track this week,.. (at least)
And this is one more flying track,... there is different ways to finish this, I add some versions at the end...
@lesorsier: On Devil Hopping, the back wheel trick you mentioned is faster.
Unstable Tunnel, it's been a while since I've done this. Superb run, and neatly done too. The 3 second jump between 10 and 13 seconds is nicely done as well, and I know that's not an easy jump to make because you could land on that obstacle a little short, but nice technique. As for the different ways to finish it, I don't know which way would be the best way to finish it, they all look good, but I would say the 2nd finisher looks quickest, looks faster and it finishes in mid-air as well, but I would also say that the last way that you finished is the slowest, since it didn't look particularly fast. Nice set of variations of the finishers, an interesting thing to put in, I think.
As for Itchy Jaws, I don't have it yet so I don't want to spoil it by watching it, I'll watch it whenever I get it as a prize from the MC Event. Anyway, excellent work on Unstable Tunnel and the alternative finishers!![]()
