Ingame voiceChat forced. Can't turn off no matter what

I've played a lot of FarCry4 with my friend while we'd chat on Skype, when suddenly one day, i was hearing double voices and tracked the secondary VOIP to be from the FarCry4.exe-prossess. I have tried everything to turn it off, but nothing works and nothing in the settings or UI even hints to there ever being a voice chat. This ingame VOIP is horrible quality, too. This forces me to disable all sound from the thread if I want to be able to hear my partner properly. This means I loose all in-game sound effects.

I've looked everywhere, and it seems for some people, there isn't even a possibility for any VOIP in FarCry4. This simply doesn't make any sense, and as far as I can see, I am the only one with this gamebreaking issue. Does anyone have any idea as to how I can fix this, and more oddly, how this issue just suddenly occured in the first place?

    Thanks in advance.

    open Uplay

select Settings in the upper left corner (you'll see three lines )

    select Voice Chat

Uncheck the option to enable it .........that turns it on and off

    = FIXED
