Division Beta Disappointment - AI Bullet Sponges

When this game first was announced I had so much hype for so long. It must have been because of my new love of Rainbow Six: Siege, but I can't get over how long it can take to kill enemies. I saw some "high level gameplay" and thought, "Is this really worth it? This is what I have to look forward too?" Sure the fights looked "intense" in some areas, but most of the time it looked like it was just wave after wave of people who take several clips to the face to kill. This just makes nearly all fights just grinding, where at the end of a mission these people ran out of there 400+ ammo on each of their guns to clear the final room. I know that if you don't have the health scale or damage scaling it doesn't really work for an RPG, but for someone who has played 300+ hours of destiny within the first month and quickly dropped it soon after, I've begun to realize the tiring grind of widdling down high level enemies. I was nearly sold by the UI alone, because that is beautiful. But seriously after the tough, painful, and rewarding system that Siege brings to the table, I can't bear myself to another bullet sponge grind game.

The game is a RPG first and a shooter second, if you don't like it then this game is not for you.
