    Finally Received My Beta Download

    After contacting the Ubisoft support by live chat, they were finally able to provide me my beta on my uplay launcher. Unfortunately, I started trying to contact them at like 11:30 am at 600 something place in que, and didn't actually contact anyone until about 3:15 pm. Yeah, 4 hours. Sigh. I tried to ask if there was something they can do to get the beta open for everyone else, but they replied they will help anyone that contacts them...and that it is internal information after that. Also, I asked if there would be compensation available, and they could not determine at this moment, but also mentioned that it could change later on.

    Now, also, I know a lot of us are fired up, but keep in mind, it is NOT the representative's fault. I've had a much similar job, and it is quite unfair to blame the agent when they are trying to help. It is the technical side that screwed us over. Contact these agents, and I'm sure they can help. I also took a screen shot of my beta key and attached it for proof, so I recommend do the same.

    Below is the conversation to what was most important. Anything else was just thanks and byes.



    Travis W: Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Live Support. Please give me a moment to read your question, and I'll be with you shortly.

    Me: Hi, thanks

    Travis W: How are you doing today? I am looking into your case now

    Me: Not to good because of this issue. I stayed up all night to play this when it was supposed to be available for beta keys (which I had one and provided the screen shot). I have work in 3 hours now, and haven't played a second of the game. I understand this isn't directly your fault, so I am not blaming you, but I can not hide or pretend that I'm not severely irritated with the technical side of your company.

    Me: There are several of us that have this issue, that we had our access keys to get the ACTUAL beta key. We never received the last e-mail that was supposed to be sent when the beta opened up. Ubisoft have these specific phrases listed, and I can screenshot them as well for proof. "

    Me: "GUARANTEED BETA ACCESS", "You now have guaranteed access to the Tom Clancy's The Division™ Beta! We will send you your key via email when the beta begins."

    Me: I really hope you can help and quite frankly, I think we should be compensated because many many of us have been thrilled and ready to support the company and game since when it was first announced in development.

    Me: We are the consumers, and we shouldn't be treated like this.

    Me: Again, I know it's not directly YOUR fault, but you are the one in position to assist.

    Travis W: I am speaking with my game lead now. One moment please. We are working to make everyone satisfied

    Me: Thank you, I appreciate it.

    Travis W: Can you check your uplay pc client. The beta should have been added

    Me: I have been checking for some time, and I will check again now.

    Me: Aha! Fantastic! It is there! THANK YOU! But, on the other hand, there are still several that don't have this. Will the other customers have the beta as well?

    Me: I literally checked before I started speaking with you. What did they do, if you don't mind me asking as well?

    Travis W: We are here to help everyone who contacts us. Unfortunately I am unable to say, that is internal information only.

    Me: I understand. Well, I hope the others can get their beta as well. I will relay the info to directly contact you guys in support. Last thing, is there anything that we may be able to get for compensation for the trouble, and due to us still being loyal customers despite this?

    Travis W: At this time, we have no word on any compensation. That may change, but I am unable to say at this time.

    Good to know that contacting them may resolve the issue. Bad to know that since I'm @ 600 now and started at 999 that I still have 4 hours left... lol

    I'm glad you get your key. I still waiting the tech support response. More then 8 hrs now.
