Our possibility of gaining beta access

So, I just received an email from Ubisoft, in it they stated that they will try to get everyone in on the beta and to check back this week-end for an update. This is a good sign, I think. What everyone is focused on now is how Ubisoft is going to handle the issue of getting the pre-orderers their rightful spot in the beta. Based on my hasty math, there's a good 10% of pre-orderers who haven't gotten access. When the beta is over for the 90%, I think the 10% will get their shot for sure...and maybe...just maybe they'll fill the rest of the ranks with non pre-orderers. If you were waiting for the beta, now Ubisoft has just renewed the thread of hope that we may someday participate in it. Here's to hoping. ☼

is that for the consoles or PC. Or is it for the beta in it's entirety

It could be even greater than 10%.
I have several friends (and my brother) who pre-ordered and didn't get a code, but they aren't bothered enough to post.

I actually went and pre-ordered extra copies to try to get codes for them, and I haven't gotten them to work (I put in the initial codes on the beta page - even for other platforms - and none have come through).

@tobber12 I'm talking about the PC beta, but from the looks of it, everyone is affected.

@SilencedScream From what I gather, their servers can't handle a lot of traffic, at the moment. So they're limiting players. Have faith, I feel they'll pull thru on this. I can't see Ubisoft just brushing this one aside, a lot of people here will remember this in the future.

Yeah, definitely a way more amount then 10% if you look through all these threads. And then the people who reply to the threads also stating they haven't received their e-mail code. Waaay more then 10%. Not a direct attack at you, who said that, just want to get the facts straight for this Ubisoft that really screwed this up.

What is disappointing is that signups were opened months ago, and many of my friends and I did it but none of us got codes despite having signed up so early. Why even bother with the signup program just to ignore it? To add salt to the wound they've been giving out codes on social media for at least a week before release, then have the guts to say "due to overwhelming interest" they cannot serve any more codes.

To not be able to handle any more clients is one thing, to brag about but to not run a beta program with some basic level of oversight is downright amateur.
