My Issues/Thoughts so far in Tom Clancy's The Division Beta so far ...
The Beta has given us a small of glimpse into what seems to be one of 2016's best games, But within the beta, there are some issue and concern that can be improved to make the game flawless
Dark Zone Issues/Problems
Loot Crates - The crates that are scattered throughout the Dark zone tend to not open ( Even you are the ranked required to open them or require that DZ Keys) Although they do appear on the mini-map, they can't be opened.
AI Enemies - The enemies within the Dark Zone do have moments where they glitch out and ruin gameplay. Enemies sometimes run through wall and come from behind and kill, Enemy behavior is sometimes odd where they can be in range and can be attack, they continue to stand still and be easily killed. Normal Dark Zone Enemies (Doesn't Include Elites) can be Over Powered in certain situation , even if the player is a high rank than them.
Loot Drops - Drop from Enemies or opening crates can be seen but their is an issue where it can't be picked up. If its a drop from opening a crate, players got stuck in the screen where it would tell them if they wanted to loot it or leave it and couldn't get out of it.
Players- Going Rogue Status and killing other players can be fun, but it comes to a point where it can become and abuse and ruin gameplay. When wanting to leave the safe zone and enter the Dark Zone, players get ambushed and killed by others and aren't able to enter the dark zone. I found myself in this situation many times when wanting to enter the dark zone.
Gameplay/ Graphic Issues:
Cover System: The cover system in the beta works very well, but there are some moments where players get stuck in the corner of where they are in cover if they aim at a spot and trigger the running animation, resulting in them getting stuck and killed by the enemy.
Background in Inventory - When going into the Inventory, there is an issue where the background wound go gray or black and causing the playes to turn into a silhouette with glowing edges.
Graphics - In certain time and certain area, the textures on the ground, AI, the player itself would be choppy or blurry. The inside of buildings would have things missing and not be completely rendered.
Invisible wall: In the Madison Field Hospital mission, after players would told to go into a surveillance room, they would then have to go up some stair to proceed the mission. There is an issue where there would be an invisible wall the block the way when reaching the top. There are issue to where jumping over obstacles would have players stuck on top of the obstacle due to an invisible wall.
Snow: Afther having to respawn in a Safe zone in the Dark Zone, there would be Snow falling inside the Safe Zone whether it be snowing or not outside
Those are the bugs/issue I have runned into while playing the beta. I haven't encountered any problems with the weapons, skill and the world map. If there is anything else I find, update the post with the new things I found.
AI- even basic enemies are suppose to be more powerful than regular counterparts in PvE, so even if you are a higher level, they won't be push overs unless your 10 or more above them (which with the bracketing based on DZ rank, it should always be somewhat difficult, which is good)Originally Posted by xXHunter_117Xx Go to original post
Loot Crates- its a bug. It was like that in the alpha too, although seeing as its happening the beta too, i think this may be intentional by the devs for testing right now, given the limited amount of gear available to us.
Rogue-shouldn't be an issue in full game, with more entrances and extract sites camping will be hard with everyone spread out more. Not to mention given the limited loot, level cap, and limited missions since this is a beta test, people are out of stuff to do, hence the kill fests lol this happened in the alpha as well especially towards the end. In full game, where loot, DZ funds and rank will matter so much more, going rogue will be far more risky and will happen less often![]()
