First of all i have to access to beta forum even i´m in beta playing right now.
Second:
Day one of beta and people already started to grief as soon you got some loot.... they simply jump infront of you, once you´re in a firefight with a NPC or a rogue.
Because you probably hit them you turn rogue too and they kill you without punishment!
Something need to be done asap before release, or it will get massivly exploited and turn off a lot of players if they get griefed all the time.
I have no problem with rogues trying to kill me since they take the risk... but exploiting some gamemachanics to turn you into a rogue even you don´t want to shouldn´t be possible at all.
Wow, I'm still waiting for the game to show up in my uPlay account but this sounds like a massive flaw in a PvP zone. Seeing as it's a shooter and an RPG, it's probably quite hard to get this right while not being exploitable to some degree. Without ridiculously non human abilities to get out of being shot at from miles away, it's not really possible to keep it balanced if everyone was rogue no matter.Originally Posted by Aeecto Go to original post
Hopefully they implement something like other games where you can do a CTRL + KEY or something where you can toggle on being able to hit other players if they are not Rogue and do reduced damage or something.Originally Posted by Nit3m4re Go to original post
Well i think the idea behind the dark zone is just the same as walking into certain zones in wow and your instantly flagged for pvp and anyone can attack you. The issue with this is some of the best loot in the game is there and there are people who are just going to camp the dark zone to grief players. This is really unavoidable in this style of game honestly but also doesn't always make it fun either being camped and griefed by others but maybe they will come up with something. The other biggest issue is they don't give you much to do in the beta, they give you one part of your first main quest and a few other little pve things to do and the dark zone. I honestly thought this would be like any other beta and give you access to pretty much the full game and just let you play but sadly its very limited leaving players spending alot of time in the dark zone as that's all there is kinda.
Seeing as it's such a short beta, I'm not surprised there's little to do and limited access to content. But ultimately, when everyone has semi completed all the general content in the game it'll be a similar situation to now but with better gear. Time will tell, just got to see how much they take on board from the beta and how much they're willing to change.
