I'm late to the division - say around December 2015 late. BUT, I'm glad I'm on the team.
The beta on my end is smooth and nearly flawless in many ways.
A couple of cons so far:
Computer AI (bad guys) spawning nearly on me on extraction points - especially the 3 or 4 level one that resembles a parking garage. Frustrating getting mollywhopped as I'm running to the rope.
The peak around the corner aim can be OP. It was me and a bud against 4 guys on the same extraction point...I was in the green cargo container (in cover mode -"A" on XB1- and I could shoot and hit them and they were just hitting the container. I felt really cool and we made four guys on bounty hunter status flee, but I'd be ticked if it was me. Maybe its just that one spot because of the angle of the container, but I felt nearly invincible there.
Hopefully fast travel in single player is more prevalent then just back to my base. did I miss something there?
While in the Dark Zone, the "exit point" or the way I entered the DZ was marked "exit", etc. but when you got there it was just a wall. The "exit" had moved to another checkpoint but my map didnt tell me that. It seemed the map was still fixed as the old "exit" at the old checkpoint. Could be fixed for sure as it brought me two deaths running solo trying to find the way out because the map didnt tell me.
The vendors, AI in the main base could def use more script of talking. Got annoying hearing their same talk as I perused through my inventory in their vicinity.
Couple of things just as notes.
The DZ is one of the sweetest parts of a game I've eve seen. Kudos DEV team. You get a constant rush. For other players, if youre not playing with someone you're missing the experience. Solo was fun, but running with two other fellas that were "randoms" was thrilling.
The base seemed like I could lost in customizing it. Which is a good thing. i love getting "lost" in customizing stuff like that, crafting, etc.
