Game just keeps minimizing to taskbar

Upon launching from Uplay it just goes to a black screen for a split second like its going to load then immediately minimizes to the taskbar. I've tried different compatibilities and still the same problem. Running windows 10, gtx 680. It seems like the screen is launching in at a resolution that is way bigger than it should be. I've tried alt + enter but it does nothing. Anyone know a fix?

    Have the same problem here.
As soon as I start the game it keeps minimizing itself and there's no way to "lock the focus" on the game window.
    I'm running windows 8.1 and gtx880m.

    Anybody can help?
    Tnx

    Hello,

I am sorry to hear you guys are having issues with the game minimising.

Can you please try deleting the configuration file? You can find it in: My Documents > My Games > Tom Clancy's The Division Beta

If you are still having issues, can you please try lowering your resolution on your computer before launching the game?

    Thanks

I tryed deleting the config file, as you said: nothing changes.
The problem is that the game seems not to support full screen mode: if I start it windowed, it works properly, but as soon as I select full screen (at any resolution) the game starts to auto-minimize itself in a loop.

As Fr4Ged gently wrote me in PM, there's a workaround to let the game at least be playable.

I had the same problem and fixed it by engaging windowed mode via the gfxsettings.rogue_x64 file. Just set the windowed mode from false to true and save it. You will be able to launch the game now. Now you go into your display options ingame and set the mode from window to windowed (fullscreen).
This will solve the problem entirely.
Feel free to post it into the forum.
The problem is there's still technically a difference between windowed full screen and a REAL full screen, where the first has tipically much worse performances.
So if someone can help finding a better solution, I'll be grateful. ;-)

If you are using win10 (like me), try using the Windows7-Mode
