Was at level 32, 796 gems, 600,000 and some in cash. Game downloaded update without even asking my permission! Will now not let me back into the game. Stuck here with nothing but a few Apple receipts, saying thanks for the purchases. Yes! It was only a few dollars, but what a joke. Hopefully something can be resolved, absolutely terrible!!!

Not to mention!!! What about all of these that I have collected. Just upset cause money was exchanged!

You probably just have to reinstall the game. Have you tried it? Uninstall, clear cache, restart phone and reinstall game. Once game loads up, log on to Uplay and choose "Server level 32". Everything should go back to normal.

But I have tried everything to no avail. Deleted, restarted, back to level now. But gems and cash are gone.

That´s weird that all your gems and money are gone. You can try the support section, send a Ticket with a screenshot showing how much money and gems you had (or receipts if they are relevant). Even if you don´t have a screenshot you should still send a Ticket, i would, 796 gems is no joke. Good luck!
