Tactical Gaming (TG) was created in November 2004 to bring together like-minded gamers from around the globe and from multiple platforms (Consoles, PC & Mobile), to provide them Head Quarters (web site) where they can share their backgrounds, experience, and interests in teamwork and tactics, as well as providing them with an environment that allows a “friends-first” experience in the online community.

I hope to see you all tomorrow evening and make sure to add me on Uplay: TGxGulgir
hey everyone,
one last call to every PC gamer out there who is looking for mature and like minded gamers to play and have fun with.
We, as a community, will kick things off tonight. We will be creating 4 man teams one after another until everyone is able to play in a party. You have a working microphone and you are as hyped as we are for the BETA, then make sure to add me on Uplay. (posted above)
We will be playing around in the Dark Zone of course and explore the map and get a very good look on the game throughout the whole weekend!
If you liked playing with us and you still looking for a community / squad to play with then make sure to register on our homepage! (posted above)
See you soon!![]()
Tactical Gaming is a gaming community supporting nearly every gaming platform there is, wether it is PC, XBOX or PlayStation and we accept members from around the globe. We have a military like structure in order to keep everything running smoothly and to create an entertaining gaming environment.
An entry test, so called Boot Camp, is in place in order to ensure that everyone is on the same page as they get into Tactical Gaming and to filter out those who can't be bothered to learn the basic rules for the community. After the entry test you will have access to our teamspeak and our forums to get to know the 2800+ Members. Additionally you can view all the member created gameplay content wether it is artwork, gameplay videos or articles.
You will be placed in a Squad right away and kick things off in your first practice. We have 2 mandatory practices each week to get the community together and to have a scheduled time for everyone to play with fellow members.
If you are still not sure wether you should join or not, then add TGxGulgir on UPlay and we invite you to our practice to give you a better view on the things we love to do!
Is this what you always looked for? If yes then sign up here.
Don't be afraid and give every challenge your best shot!
regards,
Hello,
I have a few questions about joining, if you dont mind?
1. Boot camp, what is entailed in this? I assume its just basic manners and listening to orders when playing a game.
2. Mandatory practices? could you elaborate? - I have to work, so are there multiple practices available, or is this able to be waived on personal grounds?
3. I am a shy person and Introvert, it takes me a while to become comfortable when around new people. Obviously i will answer when talked to, but I am generally happy to listen to conversation. I guess this isn't so much of a question, more of a statement....
4. I would assume that with so many members you have people from all timezones? I am in England, so there would be no point me joining if you guys are all in America for instance.
My play schedule is usually something like this (GMT+0)
Monday - Thursday 13.30 - 17.00
Friday - 13.30 - Late
Saturday - unrestricted
Sunday - Log off at 17.00
Many thanks
hey there,
to answer all of your questions i gonna take them one by one so let's get rolling.
1. The Boot Camp test is about the structure of TG, rules, procedures and guidelines. Not everything mentioned in the Boot Camp is always used since it doesn't apply to the game we are playing.
2. Mandatory practices are there, as mentioned already, to get the community together at specific times. They are not mandatory in that regard, that you MUST be there but everyone is encouraged by them to come and play with fellow members. If members can't devote enough time to play on those times, we have a forum membership as well, so they don't have to leave the community. If it is for only a short period of time, like exams or tons of work, people can go, so called "on leave". (more details on that on the Boot Camp)
For every game there is a practice schedule which is accessible for every member at any given time. For the Division the practice times are the following:
Wednesday and Sunday from 7pm - 9pm GMT for Europe
Wednesday and Sunday from 7pm - 9pm AEST for AU / NZ players
Wednesday and Sunday from 8pm -10pm EST for America
Wednesday and Sunday from 8pm -10pm PST for players from the West Coast
3. That is not a problem at all! We had shy members before and they found themselves pretty quickly within the community. We respect everyone and being friendly and helpful is one key to grow for us.
4. The practice schedule partly answers that question already but to cover the other side as well i will bring more details to it. TG divided Europe, America, Asia and Australia into 2, so called Battalions.
1st Battalion - America and Canada as a whole.
2nd Battalion - Europe, Asia and Australia.
We have enough players on both Battalions to keep them up and running and on weekends both Battalions even play together if the game allows it.
I hope that answers all your questions and concerns you had.
regards,
