    Freezing At Times On Load-up

First this problem has nothing to do with my laptop and it has nothing to do with my game. It's the UPlay App causing the loading-up freezing at times. This is what's happening. When I load Far Cry 4, sometimes when the UPlay App logs me in, when I get that little notification on the top-right of my screen, my laptop freezes. The reason why I know my laptop and my game is not the cause is because exactly the same thing happened in exactly the same place to me recently a number of times with Far Cry 3 in my other laptop. The only thing left to blame is the UPlay App. I don't need to re-install it because I've had this problem with Far Cry 3 in one of my laptops and the same with Far Cry 4 in my other laptop. Why does this happen?

try verifying your game files yet ?

To verify your files if you bought the game thru Steam ..\EXIT Steam ..right click your steam icon ..select run as Administrator

    launch Steam

go to your Steam games library

right clik on far cry 4

    select properties

    select local files

select verify Integrity of game cache

it takes a few min to do but its faster the re downloading your entire game , if its only a few files that were corrupt or installed incorrectly .... this in many cases will fix your problems

If you have the U play only Version of the game you can also verify your game files with U play

if you have the game via u play only here are instructions how to verify your game files thru their client
Again its probably best to make sure you launch Uplay as RUN as Administrator when you do a file verify

see the bottom of the page

it could also be your drivers , since your on a laptop . if you have an Nvidia GPU you have Nvidia Optimus drivers most likely, and you may be better off with only using Drivers Direct from your Laptop manufacturer

and please before you tell me its not your drivers go look on the Nvidia FORUMS there are tons of people with problems with the recent Nvidia drivers on many laptop models https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/33/

also keep in mind it does say in the system requirements that Laptop GPU's may work but are not Supported
