Failed to Sync Cloud saves - Far Cry 4

When I try to start the game it tries to sync my game saves, but it fails and says that it only found some of the older saves. BTW I've just install the game again so their are no save saves on the my pc, only on the cloud.

you should have made regular backups of your save files

the Uplay Cloud saves can sometimes not function correctly . my advice shut off that option in the Uplay settings and keep it off and make your own manual backups

    https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ/9/...0000000enCFCAY

if you shut off the Cloud settings ...

You can replay missions and have multiple save files . its not that hard to do .
what i do is right when you start the mission your on and the mission name is displayed on my screen , is Alt tab out of the game

go to my C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 856

make a new folder in there with the name of the mission like , Dont_look_down or A_darkPlace or death_fromAbove

then copy and paste that 856 folder into

to replay that mission i copy and paste that 856 folder back to

    C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 856

(you can also copy them to a USB thumb drive and copy them back and forth)

you can create multiple saves this way ... and replay any mission , i made backups of every mission in the game, so i can replay them with differnt weapons and loadouts.
(you can also play both sides of the Balance of Power missions by doing this , as the missions from Sabal are Differnt then what you get from Amita)

each save consists of 4 small files
    1.save
    1.save.upload
    2.save
    2.save.upload

one is an auto save the other is a user created save point, the other ones are upload files that save to the cloud ,and it will always make those .upload files even if you shut off the cloud save option in Uplay settings

see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8cTOvbgyrs < by 04AM again thank you man for making this video when i asked
or use Akunamatta's guide and use a bat file

the steam version of the game saves your game to
    C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 856

the Uplay only version they are in
    C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 420

you do have to shut off the Uplay Cloud save option in the Uplay client settings .. but you should do this anyway, as it can create problems with a corrupted cloud save (it happened to me with FarCry 3 years ago and i had to delete my saved games and start the game all over , was the only way to fix it )
