Rainbow 6 Siege crashes when creating squad/joining squad/ or randomly in game. [XB1] | Forums

Hi everyone

Hoping Ubisoft or the community will be able to help me with this situation.

Recently over the last few days I've been having issues with Rainbow 6 Siege on the Xbox ONE, as it keeps crashing and sending me to the home screen every time i try to create a squad or join my friends in a squad. I do occasionally get in a squad but unfortunately crashes when a game starts or very shortly after it has started.

I own a hard copy of the game and the disc seems perfectly fine. Also all my other games (digital and disc) work fine and have no problems like this.

I have read a few other forums with similar issues , but none have provided me with a solution. I created this post in hope that someone has any information on how to fix this issue or any future updates by Ubisoft to resolve this problem.

I do really enjoy this game and think its fantastic when i have no problems with it, and it would be unfortunate if i have to return it due to this bug that makes it unplayable.

Mine does the same thing except now it has graduated to turning my xbox off and restarting it. Everything else works fine i downloaded the game and have an open nag so i cant figure out the problem i put in for support from ubisoft but no word back

I am having the same issue, was fine until the last patch (1.3). Now the game will either crash to my dashboard or completely turn off my xbox... Kind of very inconvenient.

I'm having the same problems now and I literally can't even play.

I get "Server Connection Error" every time I try to progress past the title screen and sometimes it just crashes. It all started after the last patch.
Nice "patch". I contacted Ubi support and their solution was for me to "wait it out" because they MIGHT be already working on it, no ETA of course. Can't play the Multiplayer only game I just bought because of this, not impressed.

Seriously, this game could be great!
but nothing worrks...
Casual matches, Ranked maches, terrorist hunt - i can't even form an squad with my friends.
What an enormous load of crap, Ubisoft.
