But honestly also +1 for if they don't fix it, we'll get used to it within a couple weeks.

And then +1 for when they fix it and we all complain again because we were used to the new placement.

one question:
what is this buton for? i never felt in a middle of a track "hey i'll turn on uplay now to add someone"
i use the uplay app the in-game uplay seems to be bugged in many ways

It's needed for old player while reinstaling game (which happens from time to time). After reinstall you always need to play 4 tracks, do missions, there was no other way to appear U icon (and this takes time; what if you need to reinstall several times to retrieve server progress?) So now after reinstalling you may not do these actions, but login directly to your account from first race. That 's a very good idea! But yes - placement of button is wrong, but fix is easy and hope it'll be sorted out soon.

that is the main reason yes

Then TF looses usability. The Best practice for Exit is the lowest position in vertical menu.
It's Design defect (usability).

Unless you want to force users to connect to Uplay more often - then it'd be a feature
