I am super excited about the game, and since E3 I've thought about it so many times!
I've got the feeling that this might be the game I've been waiting for for a very long time.
Not the futuristic BS that we see to much lately.
But now to the point, I have seen people wondering about the open world concept on Reddit too.
How will Ubisoft make this look like not another Far Cry, just with another layer on top of it and a new story.
I hope the game we be significantly diffrent.
Does anyone else have concerns about this?
Two primaries is the most you'd carry in the real world. The only applications I can think of with this would be a marksman team carrying a carbine while moving in and out of position (carrying precision rifle in a backpack or drag-bag). And operators that carry breaching shotguns (12ga shotguns without stocks and super short barrels most of the time), these can be easily slung/strapped under or just behind the shoulder for quick access or in a shotgun scabbard.
In both instances you'd probably STILL carry a pistol as well.
I have seen similar where a sniper has his rifle but also has a small SMG (usually an MP5) and a pistol. If the game were to do that I would hope that the second primary weapon would be limited to something like an SMG or as you pointed out a short shotgun. Though I would prefer the game just use 1 primary and a pistol.Originally Posted by Cortexian Go to original post
I know its not 100% realistic but being able to have two primary weapons would be ideal. Its not like it would weigh you down to much, and a operator could carry two main weapons without it interfering too much. But I enjoy being able to switch between two guns in a fight, and not just being limited to the one, as a fight can change quickly and a gun that might be good one minute is useless the next.
