I think there must be some kind of mix up or miscommunication, i'v been looking at some videos and i can't imagine that somebody green lit the map to be that size.
Honestly, i know the Dev in the video says it but i think it's a mistake or we're not seeing everything. It's about 1/3 the size of Watch Dogs, even with veticality, interiors and underground areas it seems really small.
That also raises the question how many story missions and side activities will there be? It should be at least 25 story missions i reckon.

the more interesting question is: "will we all end up in the 'eastern plaguelands' of the game?" or will the whole map adjust to max lavel once we hit the "last mission" or something else?

if endgame is concentrated on ONE part of the darkzone or ONE part of ther coop area, the map really is small. if the whole map would have max level after beating the story line, it would be quite big.
How would that work? The whole thing becoming max level I mean? Do you have a game example? What about new agents?

Well its a ubi title people, what did you expect?

I still have hope though, we really don't know the scale of the play area yet, how big will the underground be for example? how many of those buildings can we enter?

I'll wait till beta to see.

I'd rather have a medium sized map with tons of detail than vice versa anyways.

Still waiting for PC gameplay vids too, these xbox ones make me depressed.

I also think the map size is smal. But keep in mind u have alot to discover find and everything is onfoot. So u will encounter more then when ur driving true a city at 180mph. Like many ppl say lets see how the density and the vertical levels are.

We are al dissapointed when we saw the map because whe where hyped by al the commotion. We are al high with expectation of this game and a little afraid that we have to put the game in a dusty corner after a couple of weeks.

All we can do is wait and hope this games will be worthy of many many hours of gameplay.

This BS is really giving off a Destiny vibe, holding back content to later push out as DLC.

Yep, I think the cat is out of the bag. I think UBI has nowhere to go but up from here. Only time will tell. If they jack us on content it will be the last new game I buy EVER from any developer.
Time will tell I guess, crosses fingers till March 8

It's really hard to say whether the map is big or small right now because it's not really clear how long it takes to traverse from one end to the other. I'll reserve my judgment until the beta when I get to play it for myself.
