At about 55 secs of the video the OP shared... He confirms that is the final game map, not the beta map. I agree, kinda small.

that was the alpha map no way that's the full map

What i dont get of this is the full map how do we get to brooklyn/staten island thats was shown in clip/trailers as the play area is about a 3rd of the way up of the map and brooklyn/staten island is way down the bottom ,
Is this gonna be released as DLC or are they hiding more info of the game ,yes the alpha map was biggish to an extenet ut what we've got to remember is theres so much detail in this game that we'll have to wait and see .

I'm sure he game will have verticality and underground sections but that map is tiny, it actually makes vanilla Destiny look big.
I'll still reserve judgement till the beta but it's not looking good at this point.

you think any of you are pissed off now if that's the final map. think about how they said they added fast travel cause the community wanted it.

naw they sat down with people who they let play their game and figured out that constantly walking straight lines down almost empty streets to always have these hoodlums randomly spawn was a pointless pain in the ***.

*note* they wont kill you just annoy you the whole way back to homebase.... with there broken animations where they slide backwards into cover only to die half way through the broken animation.

did i forget to mention with all that they managed to think about adding a dog that takes ****s >.> its destiny in its own way even the terrible marketing with assbackwards info or no info at all or sorry we changed all that now.

the only way this game legitimately hits a home run is by adding other burrows in new york through dlc and it will only take a week or 2 for the community to find out if content was stripped from the actual game.

that is also the biggest reason for hush hush on end game content and anything else related. ill never understand why bother spending the majority of your time figuring out how to rip people off and make a bigger buck instead of solidifying your company as a legitimate one.

specially when it comes to games. i wont lie if you re watch the twitch stream they literally give away that they ripped content from game to sell to you as dlc.

anyways so you get what you get and when you don't worry, sometimes you get screwed. all you people who have nothing to play who've been dying to play a new game and continue to support these ways will never ever have a game again that you can play on for more than a month or 2 without saying wheres the new one..... but i'm sure you'll enjoy your dog taking ****s.

Ok i prob get flamed for this i hope not though .

Here goes looking at my captures of the alpha i took and not released as im under NDA .

Right map size if you were in the alpha and looked at the map and it was also stated by the DEVS that the alpha only contained a very small bit of content in the game .

Same goes for the map ,all i gonna say is the alpha contained a nice bit of the map even though it was a nice size for the alpha test and some complained it was small .

Comparing my camptures of the in game map and the map shown above here http://postimg.org/image/jzzaqktsj/ it looks like the alpah map was about a 6th of the size of the full map .

Now theres loads of footage coming out of this game and some thats been released by others already showing the map ,so i recon the game is going to have a nice sized map to play in and i cant wait for the Beta/full game .

So, the game does not take part in the entire city of New York, but rather on a (very) small portion of it? How interesting is it, when they actually say we will have to "liberate the city of New York"? Ubisoft, what a rip-off, again!
