You all seem to be forgetting that crouching has practical uses in a firefight, and for staying unnoticed behind objects. Why we can't crouch is beyond me.

I'd go out on a wild guess that it's because there's a cover system, which is even more effective at stealth and protection.

Why anyone would want something in a game that promotes such obnoxious behavior is beyond me.


Or it is a choice that the developers made regarding the movement and play style of the game. You can call it lazy but that doesnt make it so.


Or you could just not taunt your enemies in such a sophomoric manner. You could kill them, take their loot, and move on.
Better yet, stay there trying to teabag your enemy for your Xx360NoScopeZKushxX youtube montage and watch as a player who actually moves with a purpose and pays attention wipes you out.

Overly harsh? Totally, but I cannot stand people who promote that kind of behavior.

This was debated many times over in the Alpha forums, with people who actually shot people for a living. It has been determined that if you use the cover system as it was designed, your crouch mechanic is unnecessary. And for those who want to argue stealth, Use the jammer perk on your radar pulse, otherwise, someone scanning an area will find you using their radar pulse.
