not receiving gems from the specials section | Forums

Hi,

for some time now i have not been receiving "Free Gems" from the shopkeeper. The video plays but i do not receive the gem.

Also, i am not receiving gems from the "Rewarded Offers" section. For example, the video within "Earn Gems" page plays, but when i return to the shop, i do not get the reward.

I have tried clearing app cache and even installing and reinstalling the game, no success.

Android 6.0.1 Nexus 9,

I play on two devices, the behaviour was the same on Nexus 7 (2012) 5.1.1.
I tried doing a factory reset on the nexus 7 and then it started working.
I shouldnt have to do a factory reset to get it working, please could you help identify the problem

Happens for me too. In the past I was sometimes successful opening "Rewarded Offers" again, then closing again without doing anything. Seems to trigger some check. Emphasis is on "sometimes".

do i need to log it through the app itself

restarting game
restarting device
clearing TF app cache
uninstall/reinstall TF
forcing stop and clearing app data

the one thing that has worked
factory reset

not really an expert on the innards of the android OS, but does this suggest that it is using a folder somewhere, that gets cleared when the device is reset.

surely i must be able to clear that manually - just need some clues as to what folders are used
