Absolutely amazing. The Citadel Gate map is a work of art. Truly. By far one of my top 3 favorite maps from all MP games. Everything from the non-linear level designs to the aesthetics and view-points are just perfect.
So that confirms several maps with castles and historical accuracy is not a big importance (I'm totally okay with the team sacrificing truth for fiction if it means a richer atmosphere and feel). The castles, at the core of several For Honor maps, are here to give an emotion, a feeling of strength, grandeur and importance rather than to match historical requirements. This allows our team to stretch reality and to focus on the function they have in our game (like ramparts rather than a courtyard, for example). Still, we stayed practical in our approach to raise credible structures that could stand against assaults and time.”
I'm absolutely in love with these artwork.
Spoiler: Show
I'd like to see the SP part of the game bringing us to other parts of the map that isn't accessible in the MP. It'll be like the same battles but from a different perspective and angle.
