Hello,
I am (as many of you here) ver excited for The Division, mainly it's PVP aspect. However, one thing that worries me greatly is how big groups of players can easily abuse the fact that you can only have four man in one squad.
Let's say that I have zeven friends, both in two squads. While we can't be in one massive squad, we can still move together and kill other players.
Of course, one could say that just a group of four friends can group up with another group that they don't know, but they don't know if they can trust them. Wheras the group of 8 can all count on eachother.
This could result in the 8, or even 12 player group working together to completly dominate a Dark Zone.
What are your thoughts on this?
That is assuming you all get instanced into the same Dark Zone.Originally Posted by alexander_134 Go to original post

I have a teamspeak, and a clan "SYG - Stand Your Ground" - And we consist of at least minimal 10 people per time....
Say for example -
4 per squad
3 squads
1 squad = 4
1 squad = 4
1 squad = 2
How does this work in our favor (And yes i can see straight away the most obvious is, we will out number our competition depending the groups they travel, giving us a significant favor of coming out on top), but isnt this an unfair advantage to others also?
Is there something in place thats going to, i dont know, help with this kind of situation at best?
24 players per DZ - already i take up 10 with my people?
I dont know what im trying to get it, and place it into words, but somehow, i dont know, i guess its a wait and see.
Thats quite a good lead actually, has it been stated that its possible to actually choose and connect to the same group members etc, or is it a randomized feature, where you will all be placed into separate instances etc...Originally Posted by Skyarrow210 Go to original post
hmmm interesting.
Well from what we know so far, entering the Dark Zone is a randomised process done through matchmaking. So I think it is more down to how the "join team" mechanic works.
For example: If a team of 4 clan mates enter the Dark Zone, can they then de-group, and invite 3 other clan mates each, making them a group of 16?
If so, I think there could be trouble, but then again, they would be confined to their own instance - so while they would be able to breeze through certain missions, they would have to spend ages acquiring loot for all 16 of them!
Edit: Not only that, but there is no guarantee that the loot would be good loot! So they could spend an hour running around picking up loot, and just getting averagely good weapons!
Also raises some questions about "monopolizing" a zone for lootcycling ,farming DarkZone Currency AND farming Darkzone XP.Originally Posted by c-swain Go to original post
