also many people aim for the chest knowing that their recoil will bring their gun up to the enemy players head while it maybe makes more sense to use this strategy in a gamer like bf4 where it takes more than one shot to kill its still obvious many people use it.

If other people spray and magically hit you in the head why don't you shoot them in the head first? Are you suggesting people who don't aim are more likely to insta kill than you, a person who thinks they're not playing to your skill level?

Also I play on console and aim for the head, and know other people that do too.

Machine guns being held within the area of a person's chest while being fired fully-automatic? Nope. None of that is realistic. You ever try to fire something even as small-caliber as an M16 on full-auto? You're not keeping it on target for long, I promise you.

Also, WTF are you talking about "Hard to land shots at range". You can SNIPE with a PISTOL in this game.

100yds with 9mm from an SMG is actually doable but not on full auto. Which is part of the problem because the SMGs are more accurate at range while putting out rounds on full auto compared to the battle rifles which should be more accurate but are not due to poor recoil.

As for MGs being held in the chest area of a person it's very doable. I used to be a SAW gunner and I know I can put rounds into the chest area in close. Heck, I can shoot a SAW more accurately hip firing with just one arm than the guns in this game at close range. I've had shots miss at 5ft when hip firing an M4 in this game which is just crazy.

The problem I see is the way ballistics are modeled in the game. A 9mm hitting body armor, even basic kevlar without trama plates, will hurt but won't necessarily penetrate. 5.56 on the other hand needs ceramic plates to stop. 7.62 also takes plates to stop and it's going to sit you on your butt when it hits. None of which is modeled in the game. Which means you are better off firing full auto and getting more hits, even if it's not center mass, than you do trying to aim. The best way to get a kill is to point and pull, hoping your rounds drift onto a head hit or your opponent was already hurt some so you can drop them fast.

Realistically a two round controlled pair is how the majority of CQB is done because that will put your target down even if they are wearing plates giving you time to put additional rounds into the target if needed. Firing controlled pairs in the game doesn't do enough damage to get a kill which means auto fire, whether burst or emptying the magazine, is the better option.

SMGs it makes sense to burst with their lighter rounds, but the battle rifles should be fired with aimed shots and only full auto for point blank ranges. Until they fix the ballistics and the overabundance of headshots due to poorly modeled hit boxes there will be no realism in the way the guns perform in this game.
