Task Force Unity
Task Force Unity is a casual, tactical, multi-gaming community focused on teamwork, respect, and fun. Our primary goal is to provide an enjoyable gaming experience for all players that wish to call Task Force Unity home. We use the word tactical in the sense of coordinating and communicating actions in game to achieve an optimal result. Please remember that we do not use tactical to mean "mil-sim". As of this posting we are a small (six man) group that has been together for some time now; however it is only recently that we decided to give ourselves a name as a community. We are made up of players across the globe to include North America, The UK, and Europe.
We are looking for casual gamers that share the same principals as us. While we do not have an age restriction for membership, we do look for mature personalities that will blend with current members. Because of this, the majority of our recruitment will generally come from personal invitations but we do accept applications. The application process will require a trial period where the community will get to know you and you'll get to know us. This helps both sides make sure that there are no personality conflicts. It is just as important that we fit with your personality as it is that you fit with ours! If after any trial period it is determined that personalities don't fit, please do not feel as if it is a personal strike against you as it is only our intentions to provide a like-minded gaming community for people who take online gaming for what it is.
To bring explanation as to why we do this, understand that Task Force Unity was founded from combined experiences of other, larger, gaming communities where personalities had clashed, caused division, or took enjoyment out of gaming. We seek to protect the enjoyment of gaming for all of our members who wish to coordinate, organize, and work as a team. We are NOT looking for dramatic, elitist, vulgar, or extreme personalities. This includes individuals that have a desire, or need, to be the center of attention or an open "chatter box" in teamspeak. Adequate social skills (maturity - and not in the sense of being excessively vulgar) are required in this community.
We do not require that members maintain any certain skill level, only have the desire to learn and work together in a uniformed fashion.
To go back to the multi-gaming aspect, our primary focus, at this time, is Tom Clancy's The Division. However we also actively participate in the following games:
Rainbow Six Siege
Arma 3
Mech-Warrior Online
War Thunder
World of Warships
If a game you actively play is not listed above do not be discouraged, we play a multitude of games, however these are just the most active.
We do not have a community ranking structure or a community awards system. We feel these take away and distract from who we are and what we're trying to achieve.
If you are looking for a no BS community where everyone gets along and works together as a team, please check us out! Or if you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below!
Thanks!
