In what world do you find it acceptable to add an option to select a 'Data Center' by editing a configuration file?

In-Depth Patch Notes - Update 1.2 - January 7th (PC) & January 14th (Consoles)

Data center selection is now possible (PC users only, for now)
PC users can change their default data centers in the Rainbow Six game settings file (gamesettings.ini), which is usually located in the ‘My Documents\My Games\your Uplay ID’ folder. Change the DataCenterHint value from ‘default’ to the region’s short name that you wish to have as your default data center. The available region short names can be found just above the DataCenterHint line.

Please add, that you have to start the Game once to get these lines in the File

Great.... 2 more weeks of trolling. I can only submit so many videos to ubi support of exploiters. I play a game to enjoy not work for you to weed out the exploiters. Guess UBI's going to lose more players because of this BS.

You guys are a joke 5% would not of been enough compensation for the amount of renown lost if it was permanent. You are charging for micro transactions and using renown as currency then you dont hand it over when its earned by the player base.

Your support has no clue what is going on i was told to use the connection troubleshooting guide at the height of the connection issues and i was told i was going to be compensated and i was not.

I know how you feel, I felt the same way at one point. during alpha/beta me and my friends
thought this game would be the BE ALL END ALL for Tactical FPS games. we cared,
supported the game, supported the company. now we just don't play. game is broken,
ubisoft could care less. half *** fixes for everything. band-aid patches that will remain
band-aid fixes. this game is dead to us. never again will i buy anything from ubisoft.
